Hi bb2,

Not sure if true or apocryphal, but there's supposedly a moment on her cooking show where Delia Smith, comparing recipes by popular chefs says of another 'Well, I know she really likes her husband's sausage in cider'.

I'll get my coat.....

Don't worry...there's nothing more enticing than the smell of a bacon buttie.

Hi SM,

Thank you for posting the link in your 3475. Watching the video was 20 minutes well spent albeit I had already seen the PP presentation on the CRAW web-site.

Cheers, Martin

Colin crawshaw sold out fully now, which was on the cards as he has left and is focussing on other ventures. I wonder if the finance director has also sold the rest of her shares as she is leaving shortly.

Hi David,

Glad to hear about the L'boro opening : my sister, who lives there, is a big fan of CRAW (she should be, I got her in at 15p).

More to the point, it's a big University town, so CRAW's offering should go down well with the local populace.

There could be some local confusion, mind, as nearby Whatton House is home to Lord and Lady Crawshaw (title created some time in the 1800's), who keep pedigree cattle, amongst other things.

Maybe CRAW management would like to piggy-back (geddit ?) on His Lordship's 'upmarket' image and invite him to the opening bash ;-> ?

Bury will be next to open and then Loughborough in November. That will be the most southerly store but still north of Birmingham

Just back from collecting my chicken and saving stamps from our new look Bramley store. Talking with the Manager Ben things seem to be going well and it gave me confidence the fact he’d been with the company 10 years and had no intention of looking elsewhere.

One of the customers told me since the carrier bag charge was introduced Tesco in Bramley have had most of their wire baskets stolen, thankfully we do not charge for bags.

And yet another middle of the day spike upwards. The institutions want your stock and are trying to find the level that they can get the size they need
