Mark in last nights presentation said the last 5% of the land is not a problem but is taking time because CNR doesn’t agree with the price being asked.
Some of the other snippets are rather cryptic such as speaking to First Majestic 10 days ago and saying they are very keen on the project. Also Mark would like to do toll mining and the door is still open with Calibre . Various news is clearly imminent and the presentation was upbeat

U are right

It may be possible miners land resources need to be valuated before a price can be agreed. Now we have the drill results, and more resources being dicovered. Imho a matter of time

Nothing about land purchase. Everything else progressing but this land deal still needs an update.

Extract MC comments on Cacao:
The 5,000m drilling program on the Cacao vein is aimed at demonstrating a 500,000 oz gold potential at Cacao, which currently hosts a small Inferred Mineral Resource of 662 Kt at 2.8 g/t gold for 60,000 oz gold over a 500m strike length Cacao, but is open at depth and along strike in both directions. The drill programme is designed to test to depth and along a 3,000m strike length and approximately half the drilling has been completed. The vein width is comparable to the best intersections at La India and the hanging wall of the vein is increasingly stockworked, as at La India."

Hi Tester, I'd say we are probably looking at a move to 75p to 80p based on the triangle pattern. However, given the long time spent in this pattern and the overall preceding upward trend then there's a fair chance we could do more. The start of the initial move looks imminent. If I'm wrong apologies now.

BIKWIK - interesting view thanks. I agree that the chart looks like it could break to the upside any day now - do you have a target for this potential move? 80-90p perhaps?

What’s stopped me from buying any more here so far (apart from having too many already lol) is that I’m concerned of an overhang of shares being sold into any rise by RB at 50p.. around 3-4M shares I think unless he has recently changed his mind.. I’ve been thinking that if it does move it has to be with big volumes to clear that overhang.. giving me time to get in at 50p level for that move.. but let’s see.

Lots of good news on the way it appears from MC presentation so I don’t think a buy here now represents any short term risks to the downside.. with recent market action I think that would have happened here already if it was going to.. Longer term, that election in November is worth keeping an eye on..

"Also there are no villages on Cacao so no resettlement issues like there were at la India?"

I dont know much, but I believe that is the case. Clearly in north Cacao there are not miners, but crossing a road and within ex-military land there are miners, is that cacao, on Sta Barbara? I was told that in cacao there will not be problems of access, building roads etc.

"Very very very glad to hear that they are hitting that vein. I seemed to hear him say that the vein intercepts on cacao are at least as wide as anything on La India (even if they don’t know the actual grades yet)."

I am not sure, but rumours I heard are positive:" they are hitting good stuff"..... too vague but again positive. I like the change on the drilling programme, on the balance of probabilities I believe these are good news. But we need a rns

Tester, copied the below from Warren's report. Mapping indicates that the contact between felsic volcanic rocks and the overlying andesites must be very close (perhaps 200 m below ground surface?). (The contact occurs about 410-420 m elevation in the dam river valley; this is only about 50 m below ground surface at Cacao.) At La India the brittle felsic volcanics (glassy welded tuffs, dacites, obsidian) show much wider veins and higher gold grades than the andesite cover. There is therefore great potential for Cacao to host a thicker, higher grade vein at relatively shallow depth. This has not yet been drill-tested.And this piece:There is also a good chance that the main boiling level, with the highest grades, has not been drilled yet. The vein thicknesses are comparable to the thickest veins seen at La India, which is very encouraging.I'm bullish on Cacao but has to be confirmed via RNS. I'm assuming we used Warren's recommendations for this particular drill program to test his views.

Had a quick look at these just after 4pm today. Was going out for family walk, but I just had to buy some more before We left. Looked like this is going to break higher any moment now. Hadn't read any of your fundamental comments and views. The chart just looks orgasmic. Good luck all.

book5 - I suppose the point being if they are hitting the cacao vein within 100m of the surface, could we be looking at another big open pit in Cacao rather than underground, given that OP resources are cheaper to mine? Also there are no villages on Cacao so no resettlement issues like there were at la India ?

Very very very glad to hear that they are hitting that vein. I seemed to hear him say that the vein intercepts on cacao are at least as wide as anything on La India (even if they don’t know the actual grades yet). Was that right?

So it seems a given now that CNR has a 3.5Moz high grade deposit at least. I also liked the point that they could have 4K tonnes per day of mill feed but the plant is only sized at 2850 max so far for 120koz per year. So room for growth on top as well.

If Nicaragua doesn’t implode under the next election / regime change - 2 years and this could be £3-£5 a share.. Esp if gold also hits $3000 in those timeframes with increasing inflation etc.. could be a perfect storm..

I noticed changes on cacao drilling from previous report's recommendation (25,drills btw 200 to 300m depth) to drills at 100m centres to 100m depth. At these centres the reserves would be of higher quality and add more to our valuation. Interesting change.

Yes book5 some interesting nuggets. Initial Cacao samples at the lab so still expecting an update once these are analysed. Really pleased that they continue to hit the vein at Cacao on their step outs (100m spacing I think). If this continues along all 4km this will be very juicy (potential for higher grades and thicker veins compared to La India). Looks like Warren Pratt was on point so far.

Good presentation
One drilling ring on the Mestiza already.
toll mining still alive and we are keen to get one during the construction stage...non disclosure agreement signed with calibre. This year Calibre has 1.2 million ton spare capacity. MC said "the door is still opened"!! So we can guess that conversations are ongoing ;).

Above was expected.

news to me are:

By default we may get permit to build the mine if in around 3 weeks we don't hear that the government opposes. We have told the government we have started with the construction phase even though we have not yet fulfilled all conditions. Great news, if successful this will mean our permit has been upgraded and EXTENDED (?) from exploring to construction! a rns will be issued if we received official notification to carry on building.

results at Cacao look good, they are hitting vein structures.

Perhaps first poured of gold in 18 months (ambitious target), more likely around 22 months (end 2022).

mark is in Arizona speaking to plant manufacturers, going to Nicaragua next.

Hopefully tomorrow we have a rns announcing we have started a massive 8000 m drill programme at the Mestiza.

Tomorrow we should carry on going up

The CNR share price is holding up well despite the slip in markets today.. gotta love how the market chucks the baby out with the bath water - inflation will be great for commodity and PM stocks yet because everyone is selling the index or selling their gold holdings to hedge and the prices drop, those stocks also get marked down - despite the fact that the same said stocks will be absolutely flying when they realise that inflation is NOT transitory as the FED is trying to say.. They said the same in the 70's and look what happened to gold during that decade..

Bitcoin has been the young pretender for the past few years, but the market is about to see why Gold is still the undisputed reigning champion of the world as an inflation hedge.. And all PM producers and junior miners will benefit in an amazing way.. Hold tight for the next couple of years!

Finally a move Up 3.2% on volume of just 15000. There were a number of trades at full ask yesterday so let’s see if this move towards 50p is sustained.
