888ICB how can you be surprised in all honesty if you've been invested here for years? This share defies logic fullstop.

Just 10 trades so far for volume of 142000 and down 1%. Let’s see if we get any interest this afternoon in anticipation of perhaps further drill results next week or indeed other news. It is hard to understand how we can be below 50p.

Good Rumours are cnr has started drilling on the other side of the ravine. Apparently this area was not previously industrially mined because even though it contains plenty of gold its grades appear not to be so good.
If findings are adequate I am wondering if that area would be a suitable land for the miners as it is closer to the town.
Following last presentation MC should had arrived to Nicaragua by now. Exciting times.

What I hear is the young are enthusiast to start with the technical courses sponsored by CNR. Courses start next month, and cover driving & maintaining the yellow coloured plant, and other subjects like industrial maintenance (electrical, mechanical, computing, welding etc). CNR has done a very good job visiting the miners, helping to fill the forms, collecting paperwork...
Courses are taking place during the weekend and CNR will provide a bus.
All miners I know want jobs.
Courses are for those under 35 years of age, some last 27 weeks, other 40 weeks.

A part from the courses enthusiasm, I would not trivialised their request for land, imno the land will be for old miners and future generations. As we don't want to loose our concession, neither they want to loose their land only for cash.
I am positive a solution, involving land, will be found.
In regards the cash compensation now we have the results of the drilling on the coop land, so we should be able to put a value to that gold, and split it in cash + new land?
I believe a good time to start the negotiations would be when the construction permit is issued, people sees the mill coming in, and the younger start attending the courses. All of this will happen in June...

What is happens with the tool mining agreement? The last condition, the drilling at the Mestiza, should have started by now, so perhaps we could start extracting material on those few areas already drilled?

We should have good news soon, here there is hope.

To be honest even the elections are not a concern, the government is highly unlikely to object to a de facto construction request. We are now well into that 30 business days wait period. If they don’t then the timing of the last 5% can wait as long as necessary (even to after the elections). The key here is the grant of the construction consent, not the land acquisition.

Sir Andrew, probably you are right.
The only pitfall is the elections / political situation in the country. Nevertheless, we already have "socialism" in Nicaragua, so as long as our common friend Jeremy C. is not emigrating it cannot get worse 😅

It is my guess that the coop have been made an offer of sorts and that they are possibly holding out for more, I do not think negotiations are taking place. If they don't make a move I think we will be in a rapid CPO scenario and they will be ignored and simply get what they are given. I would be panicking if I was a member of the coop, they have little if any negotiating power, despite what THEY may think.

Book5 you may be too close to the situation to see the wood for the trees, do not imagine the coop matter as much as they think they do.

As far as I remember Mark said that all the land has a price (meaning we could buy it at any moment), but that said price is high.
Therefore the land is not the critical path. In the worst case, when everything else is ready, we could still go right ahead and buy it any moment.

Sir
Do u expect cnr will make an offer inmidiately after we receive the construction permit?
I wonder weather cnr will be offering land too.

I have listened to it and would recommend it to anyone interested in Condor. It was the best interview in terms of content for some time and I think it led to the recent improvement in the sp(until today!).
The item you have highlighted about the permit is a major milestone.

They want cash and land. No offers received yet.
I expect we will hear something soon as now we know how much gold is within te first 35 m of depth .

I hope many of you have had the time to watch this interview and its q&a:

Look especially at 1:56:15 approx.

It's quite simple, the government have been advised we have commenced construction. If they (the government) don't object within the specified timeframe detailed in the permit, we are good to go. Clearly we have spoken to them before taking this course of action. The cooperative owners of the land are in effect now unimportant, the project will proceed and the land will be acquired. The coop ought to be rushing to take the money, not to do so would be a mistake!

We must remember that CNR is a very small investment for Ross Beatty so we must be careful not to overthink the reasons for his buying and selling if indeed it is RB who is continuing to sell. He may well see better opportunities elsewhere for a quicker return as I imagine he has been not too happy with the slow progress at CNR due to Mark’s strategy of minimising dilution. Mark’s strategy is good for us but maybe not for RB. We also know RB is very keen on Cacao because his geologist likes it but CNR have only just got doing to drilling it.
Condor is looking really good at the moment and I am expecting that to start being reflected in the share price in the coming weeks and months.

I must profess to being quite confused by Ross Beaty's strategy towards Condor .

You can see from my post no 2482 that he became a shareholder in April , 2016 , owned over 8% of Condor at one point , but ended up not following all the fundraisings religiously . My arithmetic suggested he invested £3m into Condor in total for an average of 41p per share . So , selling 5 years later not only for a tiny profit but just at the point that Condor starts developing La India , ie the point that tends to see most upside to market valuations , seems bizarre .

Maybe there has been a falling out that we don't know about , perhaps a deep frustration with how long it has taken to get to this point , or just a time of life thing ? Either way , if Cacao comes in , we will certainly have to thank Ross Beaty for the introduction to his geologist .

As a mixture of debt and equity $70~80 million is chicken feed to Rio, First Majestic or Jim Mellon just to mention the 3 most obvious sources. Let’s get this done and get rid of the seller who is holding back the rise in the share price The positive to the selling at 50p is that 50p is a great price to be able to buy at now.

My especulation, is that cnr is deliberetly quiet (news are due) bcs negotiations with FM and/or Calibre.
Our job is simple, wait a bit more.
Probably within max three weeks share price will be above 80.
Here there is hope.
