Showing a small drop in share price due to narrowing the spread from 51/54 to 51/52. So no drop in the sell price and buys outweighing sells. Gold up slightly on yesterday at 1868.

18-24 months to production. Is that the first time he has made such a forecast?

Well I've recently bought into this, despite Nicaragua's dreadful position in the world corruption index and supposed general geological unattractiveness for exploration. Maybe that's old or distorted news, at least as far as the geological aspect is concerned. Getting to the stage of actually mining seems to be a very long drawn out affair, and now maybe nobody wants to make any major decision until after the November election, more delay. Still the present increasing price of gold, seems to be gradually mitigating in the company's favour, and getting in well below 50p feels good to me when I compare the company's potential value with others in a similar situation. In my case, I'm hoping that the inevitable boredom that's set in over the years, will be working to my advantage, and that I've been lucky enough to choose my timing correctly. If not, whether for political or other reasons, the existing resource should mean that my investment here is not a complete write off.

Good to see this being walked up over the last few days, nothing dramatic or attention seeking, just a sensible rate of climb. Whether it lasts or not is another matter, hopefully this time really is different.

First Majestic 2 months ago took a 3% stake in CNR as half payment for the SAG Mill following due diligence on CNR. CNR have now used the imminent arrival of the SAG mill on site to notify the Mining ministry of an intention to commence mine construction as per my recent post I think Book5 has highlighted a very significant point in his report on last nights presentation: “By default we may get permit to build the mine if in around 3 weeks we don't hear that the government opposes. We have told the government we have started with the construction phase even though we have not yet fulfilled all conditions. Great news, if successful this will mean our permit has been upgraded and EXTENDED (?) from exploring to construction! a rns will be issued if we received official notification to carry on building.” I recall Mark said he had been told by a Nicaraguan Government official to go down this route. I am sure he would not have mentioned this unless he was sure he will secure the permit to construct the mine. Clearly that will coincide with the Sag mill starting to arrive on site which is starting to build the mine. That is a major step and further suggests that the last 5% of the land is not a problem. So if this plan succeeds perhaps First Majestic will decide they would like to get further involved with the construction of the complete mine. This could be by taking a larger interest or making a full offer. Interesting times.

Sir AF Thanks for posting. I particularly like where he says that First Majestic like the Project and that he had a conversation with them 10 days ago.What a partner if Mark could pull further investment from them. Here's hoping as that would quick start things.🤞 9310;

nice chart Bik, TY for posting, classic ascending triangle after "W" shaped double bottom, 2016 and 2019, my target is a bit higher 150-160 using a different method. 60 is also a controlling level that has been controlling since 2017, presumably accumulation, that will likely take some getting through, general price area of 60 has been hit for at least the 5th time, then thereafter clear sailing up

To try and predict how soon something will reach its target is always difficult. In the case of CNR and the 75p one I would have thought in either several days or several weeks. I think given the big triangle pattern that it has been in and the fact that it has broken two downtrend lines and false broken the red support line, then it is unlikely to be months. So by June it should have done it. I have posted another chart, this time a much longer one. This is a superb chart! You can clearly see the current triangle pattern and where it comes in the overall chart since the 2011 high. Clearly there is a lot of upside scope. Note the rising brown moving average. At the 62p peak the moving average needed to 'catch up' with the price for the price to advance strongly again. It has now caught up and the time is right for the price to advance again. I have also put the Fibonacci retracement levels on as you can see. Note the significance of the 23.6% level....62p. Also note the next level at 38.2%....90p. If we just backtrack you can see that the rise which preceded the 62p peak was about 40p (62p-22p). It is likely that we should see a similar rise now time is up for the next advance. I have taken it from 50p.....which gives us 90p....same as the 38.2% level. So instead of 75p we could be looking at 90p. Near term the RSI is around 72, a bit overbought, though not excessive. Whether it keeps going up without a pause or a dip back I dont know, but the upside sure looks a lot greater than any downside risk. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com

I try not to get too excited because we have had these false breakouts before as you will no doubt have seen in the great chart BIKWIK posted over the weekend. Looking good/encourgaing though. I am no mining expert but in my mind you wouldn't place an order for that piece of kit (SAG mill) if things were going nowhere. For me the frustrating thing here has always been the lacklustre pace at which things go forward but then again we don't see what is happening in the background.
