Book, a RNS stating that would only come out once a deal is agreed. There may still be other options on the table like a merge/JV.

It would be nice to have a rns stating where the proceeds will go
1% to dissolve the company
Rest to shareholders
Knock, knock, Anybody at home?

Thanks for the updates.

Of course, we PIs face a double problem
- will the Chinese pay a fair price, and if so
- will Jim Mellon let us have the money, or will he just funnel it into his Diabetic Boot Company or some other doomed punt.

apparently, around 30 to 40 miners working on an area of la india vein that belongs to cnr, only have one week more of permit to mine, no new permits are being issued.

Appreciate the insight book. Fingers crossed. Let's not forget, condor have talked about the importance of ESG and the social licence to operate. I think they have been more than fair so far with allowing the artisanal miners the continue to work up until the very last minute. If your Intel is correct, seems interesting timing to move the miners off the land at a similar time to a site visit from a potential acquirer.

Need to confirm information about what happened in La mestiza, it is a bit far from the village to be sure.
cnr has recently closed the America Túnel and also is going to close the Avispero túnel, So more pressure in the job market.
Cnr should comply with the law and locate an area for artisanal mining
Cnr looks more decided that ever to move away a large portion of the miners, gloves are off

The most significant good news related to land I have heard in a while :

Apparently, yesterday cnr took possession of la Mestiza by removing the miners, the police helped cnr

why do we need that rich land? either for toll mining, to sell it, or to swap it (or part of it)

Government will do as they want, among other reasons because we dont own the whole land and need the government to get it.

miners don't want to sell for pennies, want land with gold. Will government support them to get la mestiza? for the shake of their grandchildren's jobs I hope the government supports them. We should know soon. Also there could be problems taking ore form la mestiza as would cut a road that other owners use to mine their properties. I dont know what will happen with la mestiza.

Will the government rob part of what Zhaojin is happy to pay? i am not so sure as the money Chinese will pay for only la india, without la mestiza, will not be much, but i would say the government will expect some "presents"

I would sign for 30p, for 40p I would eat my hat, for 50p..... for 60p ....

I wonder if Zhaojin is coming alone or bringing more partners, we shall know soon.

land is what has made this so difficult, there are problems is several fronts, but can be solved if we pay what is fair (gold for gold). We should have shorted the land years ago...still it has not been shorted out, however to short it is not difficult, just pay for it. When lawyers are happy to be paid with future gold production, it tells you they expect cnr will struggle to win the case on court.....but again the judges are corrupt....if so, land related problems will resurface when country returns to democracy

If Jim Mellon wants to sell the assets he would do well to send Mark Child away somewhere first so he can't tell prospective buyers lies about how much land we own etc.

With the huge profit we'd make make from selling CNR to the Chinese (?), a Zhaojin investment would make a lot of sense, but I won't hold my breath. Not sure though, which decade we'd see our money.

U need to Chinese to put at least $50 million on the table, hopefully $100million. They are around but who knows how much of that will end up in cnr bank account? Not all, that is for sure

MC said in a video that microproduction is an alternative if sale does not go through, but how? Hiring miners or toll deal?

Toll deal perhaps most difficult now, calibre to start bringing ore from CARIBE North to la Libertad, no good for us? May be time to buy calibre shares. Our greed is pour worse sin…probably that kills the toll deal hope.

A toll deal's not happening book. I don't know why you're so hung up on it.

They've clearly marked their intentions - because you think that's a way out doesn't mean the board do.

The thing's being sold, end of. If they do sell to China at a decent price, brilliant. Let then manage the carcrash that is attempting to do business in a failing state hell bent on burning global bridges.

Probably (80% chance) whatever the Chinese company pays, a portion of it will go to the Ortega’s bank account in China, we will never know the full details
That, or our licenses will expire
A great mining jurisdiction?
Let’s hope we still can have a toll deal with calibre
Let’s see

None of these with the exception of China - so far as I am aware - have a gold mining company with the capability to profitably develop the CNR property. So China be it at a scalpers price of say under 15p.
