25/2/2023 13:35 | Probably (80% chance) whatever the Chinese company pays, a portion of it will go to the Ortega’s bank account in China, we will never know the full details That, or our licenses will expire A great mining jurisdiction? Let’s hope we still can have a toll deal with calibre Let’s see | book5
25/2/2023 11:37 | None of these with the exception of China - so far as I am aware - have a gold mining company with the capability to profitably develop the CNR property. So China be it at a scalpers price of say under 15p. | pugugly
25/2/2023 07:51 | zangdook - define me Lent in various religions and cultures and I'll know what it is - it's a movable concept and habit. Perils don't feature in the totality of investment theory, but I understand risk and reward. | septblues
24/2/2023 18:47 | UN Vote on war in Ukraine. The vote showed Moscow's continued isolation on the world stage after 12 months of war. It only earned support from six other nations: Belarus, Syria, North Korea, Mali, Nicaragua, and Eritrea. Could Nicaraga's vote for Russia be toxic for our hope of selling our assets - Also possibly toxic for Calibre. | pugugly
24/2/2023 16:49 | another drongo to filter | zangdook
24/2/2023 16:34 | don't know what Lent is and don't deal in perils | septblues
24/2/2023 16:26 | a cooperative is quite well covered in Wikipedia, they normally have tax benefits and social constructs in law | septblues
24/2/2023 13:09 | Step, around 500 people working have never paid anything to coop (for decades), but this may change. I believe: the option of self employed exists and miners can pay taxes for future social benefits , and that cnr helped to set this up May be if miners do not get any land all that families could go to your village for jobs once the mine finishes in 10 years? as this will not happen then the Miners want to secure something better for their future of what the have ( land full of gold) or will not sell. You would do the same; recognising this is the start of any negotiations, ignore it at your peril. u better calm down and meditate during Lent Critical days ahead for cnr, this looks a make or break situation | book5
24/2/2023 12:46 | Therefore the Coop is not a cooperative but a capitalist entity sheltering behind tax shelter and social and artisanal miner legislation. Who benefits from the Coop's actions? who decides on allocation of profits?. | septblues
23/2/2023 11:43 | 888 😴 More statements: Coop to ask money to miners to mine on its land, and ask miners from far away villages to leave its land However They tried last year and failed Let’s see this year It would be good to have room for miners of la mestiza to move to the coop’s land. around this time of the year around 500 souls working on the coop’s land. This week cnr to respond to miners currently working on la mestiza Coop is increasing its revenues while us are down, Calibre can not buy us, clues on previous posts | book5
23/2/2023 11:11 | Is his track record really so good? I had the impression he struck very lucky once and has been riding on that ever since. He's certainly had quite a few total screw-ups. I may not know the entire story though. | zangdook
23/2/2023 10:25 | He is hardly likely to have put another £1 million into CNR recently if he’s already written it off. Book5 is a notorious deramper who just makes ridiculous statements without any substantiation. | 888icb
23/2/2023 09:50 | Naa, his track record speaks for itself he knows what he's doing. It's just a case of his ability to get this specific deal closed off, which is one of many across his portfolio. If it's got his focus, there's clear skies ahead of us yet. If he's written it off already, we're all effed. | cegamer
23/2/2023 09:35 | And to be honest, you don't want to touch anything that Jim Mellon is involved in either. He sells snake oil. | diggybee
23/2/2023 09:29 | Also, book, if 27p is where we land, I'd consider that a complete failure on BOD's part, even though the recouping of a fraction of my HEAVY loss here would be realised (I'm mid 40s). Not only would that suggest a sale of lower than 50m, when even 100-200 was considered fair, compared to the indicated and inferred volumes in BFS it's downright laughable. I've got no doubt that these guys disregard the trivialities of bb posters, but for everything Christ they need to do something. This will be my last venture into AIM. It's nothing more than open season on naive PIs. | cegamer
23/2/2023 09:20 | Unfortunately, I think Jim's meaning of skin in the game is very different to ours. This is chump change for him. My concern is he's just over this now and too focused on trying to find a way to live forever. Someone needs to tell him - "you do know, you can't take it with you..." | cegamer
23/2/2023 08:16 | To be fair Jim the shark has real money and skin in the game. Mark is the incompetent charlatan. | diggybee
22/2/2023 16:35 | It's obvious the two bosses have lost total interest in this company as they know the eventual end game, being far closer to the (non) action than any of us could ever hope to be. They are doubtless now engaged in meaningful activities. Most of us cling to ever diminishing hope, wishing we hadn't be so stupid as not to have investigated the real politic in that country and the area we're particularly interested in, but then how could we have done so. Still, it's an AIM company and whilst not lying, they're invariably very economical with the truth. The only hope is that most other small mining companies are dead in the water,(lithium shares apart, maybe) so if there's s general surge (gold at $2,000 ?) that's when I would sell and take the hit. Very very frustrating when you see the general indices going up, but it's good to be a masochist every once in a while ; teaches you a thing or two. | corrientes1
22/2/2023 15:05 | Hopefully Jm can buy the land and take us private (27p?)if he wants. He may need around $200 million and make a decent profit….may be triple his money? | book5
22/2/2023 13:46 | nobody pays me I am saying the truth for what i know: there are not negotiations yet to buy the coop's land, no offer on the table Also the government probably prefers a Chinese company end ups owning cnr concessions to avoid risk of sanctions if calibre buys us. question i ask is, does the government want us to fail to take the assets for a nickel? Common MC shows evidence this is not the case, show us timetable to buy the land (how long will take the registering of the properties deeds, do you even know if you have not bought them yet?), and update us on the sell process more than 3 months have passed.... are we going to get a toll deal rather than selling? or that as well has been blocked? my detractors are looking forward for your news | book5
22/2/2023 12:46 | The Nicaraguan Government or Nicaraguan Embassy or Artisanal miners must still be paying book5 for Financial PR | septblues
22/2/2023 11:47 | cegamer the only person trying to talk up a toll deal which is against what the company has told us they are doing is book5. He seems to think that by continually talking about it will make it more likely. We are in all likelihood going to be sold - unless they tell us otherwise. The only real question is for how much?? | redprince
21/2/2023 23:06 | Condor is a nice side gig for him. He is really a world class tobogganist. | diggybee |
