id think they would wont to keep a lid on this till they go to aim, anyone know if as holders we will be offered anything when they do a placing or will it all go to institutions.

Yes I have seen it stated before that there are some bargain assets to be had in the former USSR.

What initially attracted me to Concorde was that they are targetting such bargain assets.

When they appointed the former Minister of Geology of the former USSR as a non exec, I felt they were moving in the right direction, and the subsequent appointments have assembled a fully equipped team to deal in Russia.

"TAGHMEN ENERGY, an AIM-listed oil-and-gas exploration and production company that claims to be Britain's biggest investor in Guatemala, will announce tomorrow that it has acquired a large stake in a second licence to explore in Colombia's Middle Magdalena Valley. The prospect may contain up to 20m barrels of oil reserves, the company said. Last week, Taghmen won a licence in the same region for a prospect that is estimated to have up to 90m barrels. Taghmen, under chief executive Nicholas Gay, is in pole position to benefit as Latin American oil and gas markets are privatised"

Starting to understand the economics of Russian oil now. An interesting article on the VOG bb today detailing how much they sell their russian oil for plus searched back through their news articles on how their first field was producing 200 bpd and they're aiming to increase this to 1000 short term and 4000 long term, together with a significant increase in reserves. I believe thay only paid approx $1 per barrel for C1 and C2 reserves?

Roll on the first deal!

a long term play i feel; bu the mgmt are an excellent team; i think a bit of paience will reward us all...whetyher it when were on AIM i'm not too sure, but i can s a rally soon on ofex..

can any1 advise how many shares are in issue please?
