17/2/2006 20:11 | Andy, you bought CDE at a penny? Nice one. | ![]() papillon
17/2/2006 19:17 | EBB, Sadly no! I am witing to read Ian's write up on SER with interest though, and will make a decision afterwards if I like what I read. | ![]() andy
17/2/2006 19:02 | Presumably you mean SER not SEY, Andy? | ![]() english bigblls
17/2/2006 18:58 | jul1ac, Well we hope so! In fact, for those holding Concorde from 1p, the question really should be, could JKX become another Concorde! I have held JKX for a 9 1/2 bagger so far, whereas Concorde has already increased more than that for me! I feel we are in on the ground of a company hoping to emulate the likes of SEY and JKX for sure, but I see CDE more of a SEY than a JKX, as they are buying into producing or near producing assets, whereas JKX are more of an exploration play, IMO. SEY has yet to move like JKX has, but it's on the way IMO. | ![]() andy
17/2/2006 18:24 | Could this be another JKX !! | jul1ac
17/2/2006 15:00 | Well thats good news then FTB - i need it to stay at these levels for another week though to get to my target holding. | ianbagnall
17/2/2006 14:33 | ---> ianbagnall: I was told they were negotiating to get stock from someone as none to sell at the time. Looks like they have now persuaded someone to sell to match buying. Got 50K easy a few days ago, but stock now very short indeed. | ![]() fromtheblue

17/2/2006 12:02 | Been trying to buy all morning - even by phone, but cannot buy more than 10000 at a big premium. Maybe a big jump coming or deal announcement?? | ![]() fromtheblue
17/2/2006 11:53 | sranmal, ppowerscourt, Thanks, I've just logged on today, and only just seen the question. In the Bloomberg interview, P.Hughes confirmed the rail terminal was there to service the oil facilities, so transportation wasn't a problem. | ![]() andy
17/2/2006 10:54 | That's good info, Sran. | ![]() ppowerscourt
17/2/2006 10:41 | pp - CDE's first potential acquisition also has a rail terminal as part of the deal. Management have stated in an interview (subsequently pulled) that this rail terminal is strategically important and also has a lot of spare capacity, which they said could be used to tie in future acquisitions or the capacity contracted out. | ![]() sranmal

17/2/2006 09:13 | Andy, Thanks for those maps posted on 365 and 366. So we're in Tundra territories. Are there any transport infrastructure, other than reindeer, near to that region? Yes, you're right, a long term hold, this one. | ![]() ppowerscourt
