We are basically the same price as we were in November 2020. Does that sound right to you~?

From Pfizer Monday to 90% of the uk population vaccinated… from bleak winter lockdown to open season..

No 😉

Excellent close and move today two resistance points taken out
63.66p and 65.48p.

Just get through 67.06p and we could be on to something.

Amc chart looking interesting too.

If we break above and close higher than 65.48p would be
a good start.

Yes as I have always said a good civil balanced thread is best,
yes I listen to both sides.
Support is in the 50p's although I feel there will be positive
news regarding viewing with the new slate of films.

But yes dyor a must for all.

Lets keep this a balanced thread srp.

What if we don't break above 67p? Tank to 20p?

Morning all, news of the new releases are feeding through
even into the FT, I am expecting a decent move higher this
week as the ftse reshuffle valuation date end August approaches.

If we can break above 67p that would set the cat among the pigeons
for certain.

dyor a must.

An interesting statement from Cineworld's 2021 interim report for the 6 months to June 2021 is that "Net financing costs totalled $343.1m during the period (2020: $290.3m)". Having declared losses of over $3500 Million over the 18 months up to June 2021 Cineworld has had to borrow money to survive and pay the interest on it's loans and other liabilties. This is of course reflected in the increased finance costs.

Cinema box office takings are currently at 50% of pre-pandemic levels according to BBC article:
Cineworld's base case scenario is for 60% rising to 90% by the end of the year. The Coronavirus delta variant is spreading rapidly and the current vaccines are less effective against it than the original coronavirus. It would take a brave man or a fool to invest long in this heavily indebted company with negative equity attributable to equity holders.

The IC are a good magazine for excellent in depth content
knowledge. Also have their ear to the ground, I value them
for long term trend spotting. I hold for decades so suits
me.

They are not speculators just content.
