Bobic-You are not seriously suggesting this acknowledgement at the forgery hearing of CHL not actually forging the licenses themselves then transcends to a carte blanche CHL did nothing wrong in land use and logging or any other area are you?

If you are, could be so kind to post a hyperlink to the document where the ROI states CHL was cleared of ANY illegal activities! (Save the forgery case)

But your reasoning that roi are using forgery case to burn chl cash is absurd considering you think their main argument is illegal logging. Why not let the case be completed asap and let this bad publicity for Indonesia go away.

This was the news on 4th june 2015.It has clearly stated that CHL was cleared of any illegal activities.

Do not be fooled into selling on Monday. As this is the perfect setup for a proffesional deramper to bag to few points.

Evil may even be getting paid from ROI. As ROI is so bitter by the fact that us shareholders are likely to make a substancial gain.


If we loose then a lot will be slating Debbie off. Just like they did to Giant Steps. Churchill is a fair 50/50. Win or losse you deciede.

They go where they have always been! Their council setting out defense that has never changed since day one, maintaining that CHL used illegal logging illegal land used and breach of contract!

That is the one point that most on the other thread do not understand and really should, especially if they have the kids inheritance on the line..

I agree there is a risk here and I am lucky to have only used up 6 months worth of savings. (£4,000). This should be classed as sensible and any good advice will tell me to hold for settlement or for the final award.

Long time readers of this board may recall the sterling work done by other posters (mostly masarap from memory) in contacting the relevant government bodies to ask for pressure to be applied to ROI over this case. After some squirming, twisting and turning the reply eventually came back (predictably) that the CHL case is still being decided. And whether we like it or not that is, for now at least, factually correct. But if CHL ultimately win and ROI won't honour the judgement I would expect the UK government to take a very different view on this case then. They would be obliged to do so, no matter how politically inconvenient it might be to do so. And eventually CHL will realise any award made in their favour, or possibly accept a slight discount for prompt payment. But certain posters who kept peddling the line of "you'll never see a penny from the indos" etc are simply trolling investors here. If CHL win then ROI will pay, or be made to pay. Either way is fine by me - I don't mind which.

No doubt if and when CHL prevail in the present decision on document authenticity the share price will go up and down like the proverbial yo-yo as traders move in and out of what is a relatively illiquid stock. But if CHL win here and the share price does anything other than rerate substantially upwards (in general terms - I realise it will bounce around for a while) I'll be backing up the truck for as many shares as I can get, as value always comes out in the end.

Looked at another way - if CHL win this phase where do ROI go next ? This is their last throw of the dice in real terms. If ROI lose now, as we hope and expect then the "if" goes out of it. The questions become "how much " and "when". And the "how much" part of the equation is likely to make today's price look like the bargain of the century.

Flying Swan stated that if we win the forgery. Then on the drop backs he will be buying as many as he can. The thing is I will be away after the 16th September for 3 weeks on a cruise ship when forgery verdict could be out. That means I will not get the chance to take any profit. However I am tempted to set a sell limit at 55p.

Save you actually being one of Debs many names- Why worry 'keeptoyourown' if it all unfurls and CHL lose at the final hearing to the solid defense of license breach and illegal logging.
You can also claim ignorance in defeat. Just keep saying to yourself over and over again.. Debbie said it was all about forgery!

I invite you to read the paperwork surrounding the case. Do you really take a position on the strength of what others with a vested interest of a talking their own book feed you?
