Again, going back to oxus, the company received notification of the outcome from Uncitral on the 21st dec, and made no announcement until the 23rd dec.
It would appear that is normal practise.

One never knows, but given the different parties involved, the countries concerned and the time zone variations I would have thought advance notice from ICSID followed by a suspension would be the sensible option. That's what CHL did last time on the jurisdiction point. I don't think there is a legal requirement to do that (or not that I know of) but it would seem preferable to a judgement popping up during market hours and chaos ensuing. That might be fun for the gamblers and day traders, but it isn't edifying and certainly doesn't benefit CHL.

Also, if I was DQ (or an office bearer in CHL) suspending the shares whilst the judgment is received and disseminated avoids any accusation of "leakage" and insider trading.

Just my views - we'll know soon enough.

Daddy, your proposal is exactly what oxus did, give notice of suspansion before the market opened on the 23rd dec, 2015.

I think they wont bring corruption charge on Noor until they are 100% sure they have lost .[still clinging on]
Conflict of interest to charge him before but I guess they all know whats coming LOL

Then they will come down on him like a ton of bricks .he will be the guilty scapegoat and he will be used to save face.

I think they would have to give notice to allow the company to prepare for an orderly market.(eg temporary suspension).Just going off past history, but I suppose they could suspend before the market opens on the day the verdict is given.

I think corruption charges will come very quickly now against Noor, primarilly to enable investigators to uncover, Prabowo Subianto involvement and also similar charges leveled at him.
Then the Joko Widodo government can pile the blame for this unfortunate episode on these 2 prime suspects, and in the process, cement Widodo somewhat fragile presidency.
Just a thought.

All fun and games, now. There is no running for either party chl nor Roi.

If chl win forgery, game over for roi, no point throwing money at the tribunal rather payout to chl.

I think this is one of the reasons why roi defaulted on their payment for costs as they may have thought they are wasting money here and it would be better settling. CHL board probably want a good offer so they were pressured into paying the tribunal cost..

Looks like the price is topping out a bit at 29p, which is its c.12 month high.Personally I don't want it to get too far ahead of itself and attract the hot money.Slowly slowly catches the monkey.

We do not know for sure if the resigning arboiter was connected to our case.

At 1st we thought we were the only coal dispute in arbitration with Indonesia but we later found another
.
Had it of been our arbiter it would of been impossible for them to say they would announce our result in Sept.
They would of had to find and elect another and bring him up to speed.

That is why there was some speculation that the result was known unofficially and both sides could have been given a 3 month period to negotiate an OOC.

We seem to be now just waiting for September so also assume it was not our arbiter and we also thought ICSID would surely have informed us if it was within a few days.

Well, if they are going to keep us in the dark they must expect wild speculation musnt they?

Surely if Roi thought they were going to win they would keep Noor on and when announced he would be hailed as a national hero .everybody would bow to his feet and he would be honoured and promoted?
Whatever the equivelant of being knighted is LOL !

It is after all only the 7th largest coal find in the whole world that he woud have taken out of foreign hands !!!
