28/12/2012 12:13 | So pleased for investors here who were brave and took no notice of the city who said they would go bust.!!! As pointed out on the day of the RNS they, [the company] never said the shares were worthless.[cos they knew like me they were not.!! Good luck .!!! | tara7
28/12/2012 12:04 | 250k bought at 6.95p....looks like they are buying to get that 2% faster.... | maxmarilli

27/12/2012 21:40 | gal,i think they couldn`t bid because too many shares held in few hands and they didn`t had any b4....also would have cost them quite a lot.Now they have 56% already then an associates has 6% ,to pay for the other % even 10p or 15p would equal probably a 7.5p in reality to them.....basically paying 30mill for the whole co and maybe they have already buyers lined up.....for sure the co will increase in value with contracts or a full T/O.......what brian/sue said on LSE is very wrong, infacts the same people that bought at 1p could bid for the co but they still have to buy the rest and 10p or 15p is still far from here so many could make money, not only shareholders that got the 1p shares....i think if they want to T/O they will do it fast otherwise they will put out rns with contracts and then in a year or 2 sell the company but with an share price of 25p or more, imo. To get my 650k they have to pay me at least 12p...... | maxmarilli
27/12/2012 21:05 | Another point, if the spreadbet article is accurate then the minimum we will get is 15.50 right? The high from Sep 2012? | galvinize
27/12/2012 20:52 | a question, if the plan is to take over completely why did they (IP2IPO & ORA) not just buy Ceres outright at the time of the offer? Why bother issuing mllions of shares getting ~25% each? Why not just buy outright immediately? G | galvinize
27/12/2012 17:10 | Really gutted if that is the case, as said earlier I wanted to ride this for the long term. 10p will get me a very nice profit.... but I have to say I was hoping for a trench load in 2015 - 2020! :) G. | galvinize

26/12/2012 22:30 | anyone going to the Monday AGM? I probably will if only as I am somewhat aggrieved that they are having it on such an odd day perhaps they thought the EGM more important or perhaps they have a requirement under their mem and arts to have the AGM six months after year end | cerrito
20/12/2012 21:11 | Well done Mark, you did your research and have been rewarded. | tara7
20/12/2012 20:53 | marben Just read your report .Very good Tks for all efforts to give good info. Got none at present. | jaws6
20/12/2012 19:46 | I attended Ceres EGM on Monday. I've written a 6 page report on the meeting, which is available on ShareSoc's member network, here: To access the report, you'll need to be a member of ShareSoc (as it's not a document intended for public distribution), which is a not-for-profit organisation that supports individual shareholders and campaigns for shareholder rights. If you're not already a member you can join as an associate FOC here: Once you've joined, you'll receive an invitation to register for our "members network" private social network, from where you'll be able to access the report (and reports on over 60 other AGMs). If you're already a member and have any difficulty accessing the report, please do not hesitate to contact us here: Mark | marben100
20/12/2012 15:31 | buyemcheap, everything I said was in good faith and my honest opinion. I'm glad that you concede what I said was technically accurate as that was what I was battling to explain to you. If you care to check back, I was not spending all that time explaning my sentiment about the company but on the mechanics of the open offer which you couldn't understand. Perhaps you are confusing me with Sue? I assure you, were are not the same person! I obviously can't predict what the future price of the shares is going to be any more than anyone else can. I can state my views, my reasons for them and what I would do. My circumstances and risk appetite are not going to be the same as yours or anyone else's, so what's right for me may not be right for you. Had I held the shares I would have done what I said and sold them as soon as they went ex-offer and, if possible, shorted my open offer entitlement. Even if I hadn't been able to short I would probably have taken up my open offer in entirety anyway as, unlike Sue, I wasn't convinced they'd immediately dive to 1p or below. I stated as much to Sue at the time. I probably would not have risked applying for any excess allocation. As it's panned out the price has risen and is now higher than I and several other people considered likely. There's no certainty - it's about risk/reward. Given the same situation again I think I'd probably still opt for the profit in hand rather than hold out for better. Just because I didn't expect the price to rise does not justify you calling me a liar. I trust you'll now retract that comment. | typo56
20/12/2012 14:51 | Typo I bothered asking [in the past tense] because I thought you knew what you were talking about. Although technically accurate re the offer, your sentiment on the share which you took a great deal of time and effort and energy, explaining many many times, was well off the mark. Now I know that it is disadvantageous to ask you, so I don't bother asking [in the present tense]. | buyemcheap
20/12/2012 14:11 | 500k dly buys from yesterday... | maxmarilli

20/12/2012 13:11 | lol I have more shares than the Technology Director , Dr Philip Whalen! As a long term investor in this stock and someone who has over 20% of his portfolio tied up here I am very relieved to see it rising again. From being 000's down just yesterday, this morning I promptly returned to profit. Good times. The technology and ideas at Ceres are sound, I for one am sticking around and am in it for the long term. Generally speaking I'm invested heavily in Hydrogen stocks, I'm not expecting any return on these until 2015 at the earliest (when the H economy should begin to take-off). I know a lot here are in it for short term wins... for those who bought and got the 1p offer credit where it's due. As said before I've averaged all the way down from 1.50! It's been a rough ride let me tell you! G. | galvinize |
