14/9/2021 08:25 | .and returning lots of it to shareholders ! | vish65
14/9/2021 08:04 | Indeed, cash is king and caml are making loads of it | return_of_the_apeman
12/9/2021 21:28 | Grades are ok and more or less inline. Production fcast at lower end, this has been communicated already. Lets see if its slipped further. Copper should be ok Dont see any reason for an RNS. Wed will reveal latest status. Either way, no one can say we are overpriced and cash flow WILL be strong and we are a mega low cost producer. But agree with the poor share price action | pol123
12/9/2021 09:30 | It all depends on whether sassa production has continued to fall and if rates have continued to fall and costs continued to rise. Also if the capital spending has worked Not sure why they haven't issued a RNS before really but so called market seems to think that things are not going so well by the share price action | ntv
10/9/2021 22:27 | Last divi was above the range at 57% I think - we shall see | return_of_the_apeman
10/9/2021 13:53 | I believe they have increased capital expenditure for Sasa this year, looking back at the old interims I would like an increased divi but realistically I'm expecting 6pence. GLA | simplemilltownboy
10/9/2021 13:34 | 'During the period, we have seen strong metal prices and therefore look forward to releasing our H1 2021 financial results on 15 September 2021, when we will also announce our interim dividend.'That was from the H1 operations update. I'm thinking divi definitely at the top end of the FCF range, or possibly above? Why do they need to retain cash? | frazboy
10/9/2021 12:57 | Zinc at $3100, I'm expecting a great dividend. | celeritas
10/9/2021 10:34 | A quick rewind, a year ago CAML paid a 6p interim dividend on H1 20 average metal prices of C-$5605, L-$1676 and Z-$1964. My rough numbers for H1 21 including hedges, C-$8800+, L-$2000+, Z-$2800+, FCF of over $40 million(16p a share). A 8p dividend will be at the top end of their 30-50% FCF dividend policy, but with CAML now net cash positive in Q3 and robust metal prices, isn't a big ask. We shall see. | pughman
10/9/2021 10:28 | It seems as if a lot of CAML trading just slavishly follows the market. Chart shows CAML top and RIO, BHP. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | melton john
10/9/2021 09:18 | Maybe a question for the up and coming presentation. They do need to address the share price under performance | pol123
09/9/2021 18:41 | Needs to be more proactive on communication. | casholaa
05/9/2021 11:29 | Two of my holdings (CAML and STCM) get a VERY brief mention in this piece: | lauders
04/9/2021 18:15 | Check out @alessiourban on Twitter for a chart of China’s copper inventories. They’re lower than average currently. Their plan to trash the copper price so they could replenish their inventories hasn’t worked either. Very bullish for the copper price. | king_baller
01/9/2021 18:49 | It just seems to follow its big brother.... ANTO | arcadian
01/9/2021 15:22 | V odd drop I agree. Any views? Soaking up big sale maybe? | qs99
01/9/2021 10:31 | That volume was a bit weird in auction last night and then a big drop today | ntv
01/9/2021 08:50 | Expecting the shr price run up to the 15th to start properly from friday fwiw xxd | return_of_the_apeman
31/8/2021 20:35 | The reality here is as long as copper stays above $4 dollars a pound caml are coining it in.Out to to 2023 theres a reasonable argument for copper to be $6 dollars a pound. In my opinion caml is well undervalued.GLA | andydaf
31/8/2021 16:55 | Very large UT at 250p at the close (£693k). | podgyted
31/8/2021 10:57 | Will be at least 6p to fall in line with previous interims I would of thought. | morph7
30/8/2021 11:49 | let's see what September brings for CAML.Declared Interim dividend of 8p would be nice on Sep 15 ! | garycook
30/8/2021 10:02 | Copper holding up v. well over $4, now $4.4.....bodes well for continued over performance IMO...let's see what September brings for CAML....DYOR | qs99
25/8/2021 15:30 | The worlds future is dependent on what happens with the transition from fossil fuels to green energy, that transition cannot happen without copper and other metals, like nickel. The majors don't find resources anymore, they acquire them, so that leaves the heavy burden of the worlds future, indeed one could say it's survival, on the medium and small cap explorers to find and then prove up projects. But, they have been hammered into the ground over the last 5 years and have lacked funding, many went bust. We are now seeing a huge increase and resurgence in the interest for supporting explorers, but still it's too little. It's probably too much for this bb but the world actually needs to start waking up to the lack of resources being found globally, because without these critical resources the world will be unable to transition. That transition it going to keep picking up pace because every year the forest fires are going to get worse, the storms will increase in incidence and magnitude and people will be impacted and then they will start to take action. If you live in California or Canada and can't insure your house because of forest fires, or you live by the coast but can't insure your house due to hurricanes, you are going to care a lot. The problem is, the visibility of the world is so short term when it comes to resources, "we are fine now and have enough for the next decade". But it generally takes 10 years to find a resource and take it to production and what happens if there is are continuing droughts in South America, to build a desalination facility costs money and that money is going to causing price increases, ever escalating prices. Find an excellent copper asset, early in its story and hang onto it. HCH have got a good asset in Chile and Glencore have just picked up 10% of the company. But, they lack water, critical to any mine, as much as they may say they have access to it, do they really?! | the count of monte_cristo |
