Copper moving NOrth again today, no idea what produced a 2% decline yesterday, looked really odd.

Copper seems to have found some good support as well recently IMO....consolidating around $4.3 would provide great visibility IMO

We are slightly down on Q1 2020 vols, so not exactly like for like, but should still be good overall

Not sure f JP are still selling, share price subdued today when all other miners are up 1.5-2.5%

Just did a quick analysis on H1 2020 vs H1 2021, using the physical sales in Q1 2021 and assuming Q2 2021 will be the same as Q2 2020.

The main driver here is metal prices - LME averages for H1 averaged:-

Cu 2021 $9,094 2020 $5,489 Up 66%
Zn 2021 $2,831 2020 $2,043 Up 38%
Pb 2021 $2,074 2020 $1,758 Up 18%

Result is gross revenue goes up $31m in H1 compared to the previous year.

If you assume Cu $9,000, Zn 2,900 and Pb $2,200 for the rest of the H2 gives another rise of over $20m.

Way above consensus analyst forecasts - and most will fall to the bottom line.

Copper holding [e-mail] soon too be debt free.Interims going to be storming,we know theres going to be a shortage of copper,Question here is whether you think long term copper is going to be $3lb or more like $5 dollars as ivan at glencore does.In my opinion time to sit tight.GLA
