listen to Harrogate for he is wise in the ways of CLA. I've tried twice and given up with considerable opportunity costs.

I agree with that and as AVAP keep buying at some point it will be bought out by them and taken off the market...I would think the only questions are when and at what price.

There is no reason for CLA to be listed now.

I read the Midas article on AVAP a couple of times. Jeff wants to double the AVAP fleet but I have no idea where he is going to get the capital from. CLA is struggling to pay off the bridge loan.

Happily swap paper on NAV for NAV basis but don't imagine AVAP will be that generous. They did do a swap IIRC with another shareholder a few years ago. Can't remember the terms of that.

Being squeezed out is a risk to the minority. Being offered AVAP paper is a sweeter solution.

Get a horrible feeling that AVAP are looking to take out CLA at 15.25p. They don't pay any more. Make it particularly shareholder unfriendly in terms of dividends etc. Bore holders into submission is the plan I reckon.

Maybe but they seem to be able to pick up as much as they want at 15p or so.For me it shows that there is little upside here. I still don't see why anyone would hold these and not AVAP

thanks db. Not an investment for me, due to the concentration risk (aircraft and airline) but just shows how high the income can be if the aim isn't to recycle lease income into new aircraft.

Yes but at what price. Someone was happy to accept 15p for 1.7 million shares

Could be an AVAP buyout here in the long run perhaps? Rather than leaving it as is - underfollowed and trading well below NAV.

Yes but good for AVAP shareholders !! Are you guys sure that you should be holding CLA and not AVAP?

Avation now bought 1.7m shares today but wouldn't it have been better for CLA shareholders if CLA had bought them in and thereby increased NAV, just like they bought a chunk a month or two ago.

As it was the 9 month timeline for the bridge, I suspect Ferre has been repaid. Sooner this "bridge too far" can be refinanced at a lower rate the better.
