03/3/2015 22:16 | It is illogical Captain. Lend to AVAP unsecured @ circa 4.5% p.a Pay Jeff @ 9.75%. This is not good business. | russman
19/2/2015 17:51 | Did we fix the Singapore Tax Issue? Not sure Did we pay back Jeff's Bridge Loan ($5m @ 9.75%)? Maybe Interest Rate Payable plummets; Admin Expenses up; EPS go down. That is {Il)Logical - Captain | russman
02/2/2015 22:20 | It appears that CLA's brokers are no longer buying @ 20.5p. The interims may shed some light into this abyss. | russman
28/1/2015 22:36 | Why would anyone sell at 19.25p? CLA are buying them back at 20.5p; they are not prevented by the "closed period". Only if they have price sensitive information; possible as a loan refinance is due by this Friday. | russman
27/1/2015 23:03 | Why would anyone pay 20.95p per share? The company is only allowed to buyback @ max of 20.5p AVAP is subject to the "closed period". AVAP control 96.7% of CLA. This is very strange. | russman
28/11/2014 17:19 | Acquisition of Jabre Capital's holding went through today. | russman
17/10/2014 20:55 | I think I am turning "Singaporean" Cant spell, Cant count & cant publish the AGM. I really think so. | russman
06/10/2014 22:11 | Got my 20.5p. They'll pay that if you put a limit on. | modj2
30/9/2014 17:36 | Strange - the controlling shareholder makes a clanger by stating the wrong price twice. Then takes 2 days to correct it. This is maybe what you could call a fair and orderly shareholder agreement. Shame they did not state £20.50. That would have been more fun. | russman
26/9/2014 19:37 | You should check that it was not 0.203p. They have been known to move the decimal point. | russman
26/9/2014 13:39 | Just sold all mine via Selftrade at 20.3p.They used at my request MarketMaker WH Ireland -the company's broker. | davebowler
24/9/2014 18:56 | hxxp://cl-aviation.c Maybe I cannot count but the website says Vidacos owned 22,915,334 shares. Annual Report 2013 says they own 21,065,334 = diff 1.85m ish. Jeff's deemed interest went up by 1.85m Today a shareholder sold 4m including 1.85m for cash. It can only be Jeff playing with himself. | russman
24/9/2014 16:05 | No point in taking less than 20.5p. Will they really want a rump of 5.25% out there, particularly since if we are not taken out I assume that there will be a high level of dissatisfaction amongst those of us locked in? Let's wait and see and be prepared to stand up for ourselves if we are ignored! | modj2
24/9/2014 15:11 | Note- '' The balance of 1,853,750 CLA shares was acquired through the market at a price of 20.5 pence in cash (the "Cash Purchase"). Settlement of the Cash Purchase will be on normal market terms.'' Selftrade would not take my order today to sell all mine at the lower price of 20p!! | davebowler
24/9/2014 12:32 | Avation PLC, the aircraft leasing company, announces that it has agreed to acquire 4,037,966 ordinary shares in aircraft lessor Capital Lease Aviation PLC (AIM: CLA), increasing its interest in the voting rights in CLA's issued share capital to 94.75%. | cwa1
23/9/2014 17:21 | That appears to be the balance (1.85m) of the Vidacos holding being bought at the close. Same cash price 20.5p. | russman
23/9/2014 15:32 | Good point, director buy is interesting timing alright as he wouldn't any additonal return at current levels taking fees into account | sharpish
23/9/2014 09:12 | Interesting the non exec brought shares yesterday. From that you would imagine he isn't inside yet if they do have any plans to tidy up the minority. Could be a protest buy and suggest he won't be recommending any offer around current levels. | horndean eagle
22/9/2014 17:14 | Guess that's it then, just a waiting game now until we're all bought out. I'd be happy with 20.5 but was really hoping to get something closer to NAV in the long run. | sharpish
22/9/2014 17:14 | The 18th November is significant; I have never been given 2 months credit to buy shares. The CLA AGM was on 18th November last year. I look forward to reading the Annual Report, it is the end game. | russman
22/9/2014 13:18 | They can have mine at the same price! | davebowler
22/9/2014 09:17 | 20p is better than my exit price though. darn it. | dasv
22/9/2014 08:32 | Its a much worse outcome than the proposed share swap. Not sure where they are registered and whether they can squeeze out the minority at the same level. If they can I hope they get on with it. These scumbags can not be trusted. | horndean eagle
22/9/2014 08:03 | Over 90%! Avation PLC (LSE: AVAP), the commercial passenger aircraft leasing company, has agreed to acquire 21,065,334 ordinary shares in aircraft lessor Capital Lease Aviation PLC (AIM: CLA) at a price of 20.5 pence per share in cash, increasing its holding of voting rights in CLA's issued share capital to 90.59% (disregarding the shares CLA holds in treasury). The transaction has been entered into with the second largest shareholder in CLA after the Company itself and is expected to complete on or before 18 November 2014. Executive Chairman of the Company, Jeff Chatfield, commented by saying, "This further consolidates Avation's holding in CLA. The transaction is net asset accretive.
