02/1/2014 18:46 | The more I read the more I like, market cap barely changed in last 3 yrs, eps steadily rising but share price only 1.75p higher than 2011. I think 2014 will be a good year for aviation companies and cla is certainly ready for a rerate. a steady amount of buys over last couple of months but no rise? hopefully this will change after next set of results in February, what do you make the nav value at moment? | wednesday6
02/1/2014 16:42 | Good luck wednesday6, the price has been in a tight trading range for over 4 years. I was sat in it for over 12 months once, before the ARAN deal convinced me to sell and go back into AVAP. I suspect only a corporate action is going to change this. Although the downside is limited due to the discount to NAV. | davydoo
02/1/2014 13:55 | ok davydoo had a read up today and had a punt, not looking for a quick return as these things take time and cla is currently off peoples radar, steady income and growth prospects plus a director buy at my entry price. lets see how we go. | wednesday6
01/1/2014 12:42 | I hope that the lease extensions will enable CLA to raise capital on more favourable terms than 9.75%. | russman
19/12/2013 16:28 | Good news I agree. Removes a lot of the costs associated with sale or re-lease to a new airline and gives a strong cashflow to support expansion plans. Everytime AVAP rises in price the easier it becomes to justify using their paper to make an offer for the part of CLA they dont own. Then they can cut the separate board and market listing costs. Im sure they'll do it one day, although the original investors may want at least 30p, which is the 24p issue price plus a modest amount for 6 years of inflation. Still, thats below the NAV i think. I no longer hold, but am starting to look again. | davydoo
18/12/2013 11:48 | Personally, can't understand why we are not up on this news as provides continuity of income for a further 6 years, one of the concerns I thought was holding back the price. | callumross
18/12/2013 11:40 | What do you think of the extension news Dave? | davydoo

27/11/2013 18:28 | does seem a bit bizarre that the number of trades in CLA were probably higher than in AVAP. Picking up on the link between the 2 is usually a bit out of the reach of your average Joe but could be wrong. | horndean eagle
27/11/2013 16:18 | Not in my copy of the tipsheet. | davebowler
27/11/2013 15:18 | Surely, people wouldn't just pile in at 08:00 just because a sister company had been tipped?? They are separate entities! Must have been a tip for CLA too. | callumross

11/11/2013 16:31 | I am sure he was supposed to be a big hitter. I would have thought it makes the buyout of the minorities by AVAP more likely?? | harrogate
11/11/2013 16:16 | Yes, noticed that Dave. Always makes you a bit nervous when you see an MD resigning without adequate explanation. Hence I sold a few of my holding. | callumross
