Konil,

I am as suspicious and it comes after 10 years of disappointment. The cynic in me could criticise this as an attempt to get the share price up ? 146 spud on time and a progress report on A5 that wasn't necessary. Also commentary that hoping that 146 is as successful as 145 to date coould mean that there are issues on 145 maybe ?

Easy to spin the negative but instead, below are the original announcements on A5 discovery back in 2014. The excitement was at fever pitch as Roxi were issuing news on each coring result which fuelled the share price rise.





You can see the excitement and the rise to 25p. This will happen again if positive and we have a lot more going on asides from this. Good or bad, not long to wait.

I noticed that too, but I was actually glad they just got straight to the point for once without the usual boiler plate drivel. I think the RNS was a gift horse. Don't gawp it in the mouth.

despite my hopes for the outcome, i remain a bit surprised/suspicious of this rns. casp dont do 'progress' type rns, at least not for many years. we get 'after the fact' type rns, mostly telling us about problems with the deep drills. so why this almost 'nothing' rns, why not just announce when at td.

dont get me wrong, i much prefer regular updates, but its not what casp have been doing.

putting my paranoia aside, the signs are positive.

they have drilled 131m (4200 to 4331) in c.12 days, at same rate another 119m to 4450m should take c.11 days, that is friday the 13th!

Drilling the sidetrack is progressing without incident and to date has reached a depth of 4,331 meters, leaving only a further 90 meters to drill until we reach the bottom of the interval of interest

For those with good memories, the RNS released on 5th August 2014 reported the first 10m core 'filled with oil'. That 10m core ran from 4332m to 4344m.

Coincidence???

Muted response to RNS but that won't last long ! 11th on the daily risers board and the news will spread.Crazy to think that we reached 25p without confirmed success in 2014 and we now have an additional 2 deeps drilled and a successful shallow well program about to deliver 4000bopd. Get ready to pump the arze out of this if A5 is a gusher !!

Roxi incorporated on Oct 2006 and listed on AIM in May 2007. Been a long journey since 2006 and maybe A5 success will hit on the 11th anniversary since inception.No incident and butane (-: Come on Clive, deliver the goods and the investors will do the rest.

agreed smarty, the activity seems to have died away. however if the share price holds at least it will be a higher base from which to start the surge in event of success at a5.

if say 3 bags, then from 6.5 is less than 20, from 8.5 is more than 25. no guidance or estimates intended, just an obvious observation, no use pretending there is any science in it or any way of deriving a valuation at this stage, any increase will only be on perception, sentiment and hype!

Was hoping for lots of new players to be buying tickets for the Oktoberfest but obviously no confidence in our Mr C to deliver. I believe that last weeks rise was purely TA and some of those players are already gone and the rest will sell pre news.Hoping I'm wrong and all the shares have gone to a large player who's adding to or building a stake.Back to sleep for 2 weeks.

Toggle,My comment was tongue in cheek as I have no source. We know Dosbol had been selling but I have no idea who had been offloading. Could be PI's trading around the fringes but somebody is picking up the loose stock. Sellers are able to achieve the bid price and have been able to sell in volume.
