PVR, ouch ! What a name for a company. Trust in Avalon !!

I'm a Taff by birth and Avalon came from the Welsh name for Apple (Afal). Providence and nice apples ! Let's hope our Roxi is a 'peach' for us all !!

Re adding, wasn't greedy, nicked £7k's worth, couldn't get the stock. Bought 50k today and had to be done in 3 trades !!

Nice thought Timber and entirely possible but i'd put my money on 145 or/and 808 news.
The first deep they were expecting was A6 and that news would probably come sooner than A5 sidetrack result. Don't know how long it takes to facilitate the hydraulic fracturing but it'll be the first deep result, good or bad.

Shallow success at 145 will be good news, especially if as good as 144 and then you have a free ride north from here. Not many companies can boast 3 deeps in play, a new intermediate structure and a successfull shallow campaign. Not saying that they all come in but none of them have been P&A'd yet.

I've been guilty of bottom fishing over the last 2 days, don't tell the missus !!

Volume still tiny @ £32k. News is overdue on 145 and interims due. Don't believe A5 sidetrack will be completed until month end early October but am expecting updates on 806 and A6. News next week or with the interims w/c 25/9.

somewhat relieved by the rise today, hope i haven't cursed it.

what are the management up to?

are some of the baver holders continuing to offload?

is an outsider trying to build a stake on the cheap / are potential funders looking for cheap entry?

is carver or oraziman/satylganov angling for a jv as an alternative to equity funding? for existing holders, jv or equity raise could be much the same assuming equivalent terms financially, but operationally the difference could be huge by bringing in an industry player with good operational input.



oraziman has a business background with lots of o&g in kaz.
satylganov is a money man with lots of kaz banking connections.
limerick has o&g finance experience in central asia.

the first 2 both have huge stakes here (45% and 12%) and if they make casp a success they will end up with $hundreds-of-millions, surely they have been beavering away in the background?
assuming a jv partner brings top class op experience and crews to the table oraz/satyl may decide a deal, with say 50% or even 75% dilution, still gives them huge fortunes on success case and is better than the current situation of never ending mess ups.

meanwhile news on well 145 could come any day now. ditto deeps a6 and a5.

KNOC and KMG are the big players but they have a long way to go to get properly established, my thoughts are that they get taken out well before then.Et al,The trading action almost feels like a SEDA type funding vehicle in play, buying but no selling and no share price movement but the volumes are too small. Very odd indeed.

Konil et al, my 70p+ target was not plucked out of the air or indeed is my own estimate. I have a friend who is a consultant to the oil industry and until recently had been working for a major in the Almaty. It appears the Caspian deep program was a small part of the general discussion as to who was doing what in country. He did not profess to have any specific insight himself as to the geology of BNG but the view was that success in a deep well could be in the magnitude of hundred's of millions of barrels of P2. He said it was certainly the view of one local that the Caspian share price could trade north of 70p. I concluded this was not concrete enough to add to my holding but certainly gave me comfort that there is still a decent chance we could see significant upside here. My plan is still to add on weakness but would be delighted if I don't get the chance. In the meantime the waiting for news of any description is wearing. I think next news is on 145 and in the next month.
