If they deliver success at 145 and say it's 600+ bopd, we are then producing circa 3000 bopd and are hugely underpriced just on shallow reserves. Shouldn't be downside from here but if 145 failed and 808 a dud, then it will recede and I will buy loads if it did as it will bounce back.808 success would add more kudos to the story and am hoping that it is water ingress v a failed well.As above, my prognosis, shallows progressing, deep saga continuing.Prove me wrong Clive.

I agree there can't have been significant deep progress or they would have had to have announced it prior to the interims. I am guessing so small shallow progress and more delay in the deeps. Luckily the share price is so low the lack of ability to develop the deeps must be in the price .

Yep, a tad disappointing that no follow through today, especially as stock was very tight on Friday pm. Probably some of TW's followers positioning themselves pre news or a TA signal that our BBulls got wrong again..lol.

Re interims, i have pasted last years for peeps to read. The interims will give the exact current position re each well so we'll get a comprehensive current update, good or bad.



Good, bad or indifferent, we'll know over next few days. My thoughts are that shallows are progressing nicely, A6 still probs and A5 not completed yet and news by early October.

Thanks Konil. This seeming inability to deliver is so disappointing. I guess we have to dig in now till Christmas and hope any sort of progress come before then.

maxim, in my experience 'new' news rarely comes with interims or annuals. these are administarative exercises required to be carried out by all companies and 'new' news only comes at the same time by coincidence. i suppose if they are close to the interim/annual date they may hold 'new' news back for a day or two and release together.

so i guess the odds are its going to be another litany of excuses why the deep(s) haven't flowed yet. hope i'm wrong.

what is a mystery to me are the seemingly random large moves in the share price for a day maybe two, then no follow through action subsequently. very disappointed today after all the promise of the action on friday.

Question. A UK co has to publish an RNS if it holding information that could effect its own share price? Is that correct ? Or put another if we get no news ahead of the interims , does that mean the interims hold nothing of any interest good or bad? Or rather it could be bad if there is no progress on the deeps? Or could the interims hold good news on the deeps ?

Too late to get an individual update so I expect all to be revealed in the interims. Not counting any chickens as I still believe the deep challenge continues but hope to be wrong.We're underpriced at 7p ish so as long as there's good shallow news then there's no downside risk. Let's hope they've got good news on A6 !

News due any day now probably Tuesday or Thursday in the next few weeks, they have missed the operational update for early September.

It will be interesting to see if we continue the trend north today and on the run up to interims. I believe we get all the news in the interim reports so probably later this week or early next.

I believe that they come out with good news on the shallows but still frustration on the deeps but happy to be proved wrong.

PVR, ouch ! What a name for a company. Trust in Avalon !!

I'm a Taff by birth and Avalon came from the Welsh name for Apple (Afal). Providence and nice apples ! Let's hope our Roxi is a 'peach' for us all !!

Re adding, wasn't greedy, nicked £7k's worth, couldn't get the stock. Bought 50k today and had to be done in 3 trades !!

Nice thought Timber and entirely possible but i'd put my money on 145 or/and 808 news.
The first deep they were expecting was A6 and that news would probably come sooner than A5 sidetrack result. Don't know how long it takes to facilitate the hydraulic fracturing but it'll be the first deep result, good or bad.

Shallow success at 145 will be good news, especially if as good as 144 and then you have a free ride north from here. Not many companies can boast 3 deeps in play, a new intermediate structure and a successfull shallow campaign. Not saying that they all come in but none of them have been P&A'd yet.

I've been guilty of bottom fishing over the last 2 days, don't tell the missus !!
