Well we have gone from what was going to be the greatest year in Caspian history to something that probably aint going to bust 5p anytime in 2024. How depressing zzzz

Roy,Can't argue with that. As stated, if I don't see the value creation by year end, I'll be divesting a chunk and leaving the rest to ride, can't have a FOMO scenario ;)

Plus the CE @ 10-15m plus $5m B8 repayment. They'll start receiving CE cash in Q3 if it happens and B8 ? could be anytime but HQ believe imminently but yep, we've heard that before. The big cash ie shallow sale, they don't need that now, it's the completion of the deal that's material but again, yep, the bureaucracy to sort.

yes hanging on with hope but not much optimism. the $83m (net $68m) from shallows sale unlikely to be this year given snail like pace of kaz red tape and drill success at casp historically a disaster. can they turn it around. would have expected news already on some fronts, so currently not looking good. let's see.

Cheers Konil. I think that goes for all invested here! I really do believe we get a return this year, the magnitude of that return depends on the drill bit. The big boys are waiting for a payday, hopefully that comes pre year end or worst case, some really positive NAV increasing news :)

That's a good question. Will they ever deliver serious production ? Next 7 months of 2024 should produce several material results ieCE803Block &8 deepsA5802Shallow saleA7 conclusionThey've already stated that they're applying for a production licence post 803 so why are they doing that with nothing to produce ? Also B8 wells to test and one poster had comms with Clive this week that they were hopeful of producing c 2k from B8 and West Shalva. Obviously can't guarantee that but they must've had oil shows at B8 wells as why test, also that acreage is producing but these are 2 new structures. Also stated that CE is on schedule and posts on LSE have evidenced that staff are being employed. Also the latest link I posted on LSE stated that there are 3 explo wells still planned for 24 that would suggest all on track. If they don't succeed on any wells this year, what's the worst case scenario? They've stated that they're applying for a prod licence, they've also stated that acquirers are looking for blocks with licences and I believe that they'll bin BNG deeps at some juncture or maybe partial sale and a carried interest maybe. They probably don't have the skills or financial resources to bring them home or do an FDP as the infrastructure costs would be huge. All deeps have flowed bar A8 and they've collected data on all wells. 803/802/A5 this year will either flow or get blocked again which would initiate a sale at a sensible price. They also have the CE and from my last chat with CC, the exposure to larger companies through charter process has increased value of the CE, probably more than $60m.If they sell BNG shallows and deeps, they'd be left with B8/W Shalva, CE and rigs business. They could generate 100s of millions from BNG deeps sale and this years results at A Block/N Yelemes will obviously be key. The plan was always to flip the assets at the right time if the money was right. Maybe they sell the whole shooting match ? I'm fully loaded, back above 8 figures and next 7 months will decide whether that was a silly decision or not.

Dont hold your breathe lol. We are in whats known as the yearly Caspian mid season slump. Where it all goes silent and we hear nothing. If we do it will be probably no headway and the price will be back in the 2s.

Jayrh,A5 flowing is transformational to all invested here. I'm not holding my breath as historical results are against us on all deeps BUT I'm hoping that the worst case is that it flowed for several days at commercial rates. The best case scenario would send this into double figures rapidly but if they couldn't sustain it, the data will go into pot and they'll eventually bin BNG or partner with somebody who can convert the opportunity. They've intersected oil at each well bar A8, all have flowed albeit briefly so it will look appealing to an acquirer should they have to exit. We're going to make a few quid this year, the magnitude depends on several factors but deep success is the main priority . FY accounts could be out next week if they revert to pre Covid publication timescales.

Obviously not NN but there's been a seller in the mix since the shallows sale news stifling the real upward movement. The news is getting ever nearer and maybe it's the right flavour to encourage the sellers to reinvest at a premium ;)
