31/10/2007 09:40 | be aware of robin of loxley he is really dangerous | seizetheday
31/10/2007 08:50 | Bought a quarter of my normal size at 37p not going to hurt if I sit on it for a year or two because once the farm in/jv kicks in it will get back to a quid or so. ..........one for the top sock draw | seagreen
30/10/2007 18:06 | ....I`ll do a bit more research... from the 19th to the 29th of Oct (leaving the 30th as a negative day). 13.9m CEK shares were traded on the TSX...with the price ranging from .34 to .75 C$. This trading sequence is 11 times the normal volume of the previous 10 days. Whoever started this was obviously after the shares.... in spite of the price more than doubling in the ten day buying frenzy.....held on to them......the question is....not who, but where is the ``holdings in company` rns?...with about 12% of the company`s shares having changed hands, I`m sure an rns is due to indicate who`s buying above the 3% `notifiable interest` limit.....my conjecture is that it could be the new farm-in partner....just a guess. We wait in anticipation. the company may well have put out a `share price movement` rns...but it doesn`t alter the fact that high volumes have gone through of late..... | htrocka
30/10/2007 17:57 | thanks htrocka. Someone has been, that's for certain. Be nice to know who bought those millions at such a low price to kick this whole thing off, but no announcement. I find that strange. | cleo1601
30/10/2007 17:52 | Cleo....I did some research before buying in....I`m certain that stake building is in process. | htrocka
30/10/2007 17:48 | so it's lost quite a bit of the gain. At least it's awake. Lovely to have some posters on here also. Please don't all go away again. Never thought I'd be delighted to see some squabbling - beats the silence! | cleo1601
30/10/2007 17:14 | I bought in yesterday...never sold on the spike because......althoug | htrocka
30/10/2007 16:55 | examples of previous posts "Robin_of_Loxley - 30 Oct'07 - 12:42 - 300 of 334 Well, nice to be in profit on these, will be interesting to see how far and how high it runs to. no advice intended, RoL >>>>>>-------------- "ayesha4 - 30 Oct'07 - 12:52 - 301 of 334 Now 40% higher than Canada close. ROL Could easily fall from here. no advice intended" "Robin_of_Loxley - 30 Oct'07 - 12:58 - 302 of 334 of course it could. It will be interesting to see what happens. Im already in profit having bought back in the other day, gains locked in, so not worried either way. no advice intended, RoL >>>>>--------------- "Robin_of_Loxley - 30 Oct'07 - 13:15 - 303 of 334 hmmm interesting just checked online limits, couldnt buy 1000, but can sell 10,000 more to come I wonder? no advice intended" "Robin_of_Loxley - 30 Oct'07 - 13:17 - 304 of 334 seems online quote to buy is only 750 shares no advice intended" "ayesha4 - 30 Oct'07 - 13:20 - 305 of 334 You doing a good job ramping this. I'd be careful - 20p to 50p rise - this is not sustainable. due a tick down" "Robin_of_Loxley - 30 Oct'07 - 13:22 - 306 of 334 what nonsense ayesha I just checked the online limits, and posted what I saw on screen I have no idea why it is rising or whether it is sustainable This is a share I followed ages back when certain other people posted good things about it, and has been on my radar ever since, despite the massive fall. I bought a few on the start of the rise, and am comfortably in profit with profits locked in. I would be genuinely interested to know why this is rising. no advice intended" | robin_of_loxley
30/10/2007 16:54 | drewz, exactly. The MMs rose this completely to follow Canada. I doubt they're holding much stock at all and didn't want to ge caught. | stuart14
30/10/2007 16:52 | ayesha, I did say that at the time..... look back at the posts... | robin_of_loxley
30/10/2007 16:52 | Very illiquid, difficult to trade. MMs here hold little stock. All the action is on Toronto and MMs here just shadow the price there. | drewz
30/10/2007 16:50 | More sad PIs locked in. There is no easy road to riches but buying shares in dodgy O&G outfits is an expressway to poverty! | volsung
30/10/2007 16:49 | Did many shares actually go through today (is it traded on PLUS too ?) or is it one of those highly illiquid minnow stocks where you can only buy enough online to pay for a meal out down the pub ? | scsw
30/10/2007 16:41 | Robin_of_Loxley - 30 Oct'07 - 16:34 - 329 of 329 Wasnt confident this would hold. LOL! | ayesha4
30/10/2007 16:34 | Well, locked in a profit, stop loss kicked in. I do like stop losses sometimes. Wasnt confident this would hold. I was amazed to see it stirring? I cant say Ive followed the Canadian story that much, anyone who knows whats going on over there and has a feel for what the impact could be here? Odd that online buy limits were showing up as so few to buy just before it tanked. Just shows how quickly it can turn. Wasnt following canda at the time, I presume the mid afternoon drop was on canada opening Amount of trades on here seemed very thin for such a large rise I suppose only time will tell if there is any substance behind the rise. Will be interesting to see what transpires. no advice intended RoL >>>>---------------- | robin_of_loxley
