26/1/2016 16:00 | I see Casdon feature in the centre of the Toy Fair.... | davidosh
29/8/2014 10:21 | I had been watching this, regrettable. | sirhedgealot
02/8/2014 08:41 | I will certainly be interested to see who is picking up all the shares that are being sold. Casdon is worth 70p minimum but we are being forced to sell at 40p. How does that benefit shareholders? It benefits the big boys, but NOT private shareholders who have been had over! This year's results are also a lot better than they look given the building demolition costs. No doubt the 1.5p dividend will be increased in the future, but not worth the risk of holding something you can't sell going fowards and where the dividend yield is still quite poor. | topvest
02/8/2014 07:37 | I cannot see how shareholders benefit from their quote being removed either. David is right when he says matched trade does not work. Have shareholders been given the required 20 Business days notice? i am not sure of the exact rules but i make it only 16 Business days between the 1st August and 26th August ? | kneecaps2
01/8/2014 15:18 | Yes, I've had to sell my few at 39p which is well below what they are actually worth. Thankfully I made a small profit on original purchase cost but not happy. Looks like there is a buyer at 40p or so. It's all a bit underhand. At the end of the day I decided to sell as it will take 26 years to get 39p back based on the current 1.5p dividend. | topvest
01/8/2014 09:55 | If they think the shares are thinly traded on AIM just wait to see how they will NEVER trade once off it !! They are just forcing us out and taking the company private effectively. I see they have picked bank holiday and the Summer for a meeting to try to get it through whilst we are all away...not impressed ! | davidosh
01/8/2014 07:46 | Bit of a body blow today. I can see the logic of taking private from a costs perspective, but leaves you in a company that is virtually impossible to exit. Selling price is very low today. Be interesting to see if a buyer appears for the sellers. | topvest
01/8/2014 07:39 | This attempt at withdrawing the AIM quote is another kick in the face for private shareholders and should be opposed by all shareholders. The directors have a cheek for trying to take Casdon private without making a sensible bid to outside shareholders. | kneecaps2
27/1/2014 21:27 | Not sure why the share price responded as it did. Results look pretty impressive if you take out the exceptional building demolition costs and extra US costs. The usual very cautious statements from Casdon are nothing to get too concerned about. How they can make a 30% rise in US sales seem like bad news is pretty impressive though.....most board's would be waxing lyrical about that...these guys are serial doomsters! Anyway, a pretty good set of results and good that they are expanding in the US. Dividend for the year looks like it should at least be 1.5p or double the interim. | topvest
06/9/2013 16:39 | Nice push up today for the AGM. | gears
07/8/2013 14:58 | Some spread Marker makers not even trying to bid for stock. | gears
02/8/2013 19:40 | Yes, happy to hold this one and collect the dividend until we see fair value...which isn't in the 50s! | topvest
02/8/2013 15:06 | I agree topvest but the new factory costs,Refurb on the old buildings plus International expansion are all costing money.Better to do it with the profits than get into debt.Maybe next year will be a better divi. The earning potential is looking good for the share price. | gears
02/8/2013 13:10 | Yes. results today. All fairly positive. I was expecting a higher final dividend, but Casdon always surprise you in some way when the results finally come out. Nevertheless, things seem to be going well. | topvest
29/7/2013 15:43 | Results soon & update. | gears
10/4/2013 13:47 | Then Morphy Richards Kitchen set getting some good feedback on Amazon & selling well for last few days. | gears
13/3/2013 01:42 | Good to see a new name as a 3% holder and certainly not a Cassidy family member to my knowledge. I am a long term holder so nice to have some company. That is the first holdings announcement since Sam Bailey in July 2009 ! | davidosh
12/3/2013 16:35 | Good to see a new shareholder building a holding above the 3% threshold.Casdon maybe a small AIM stock but it's a great brand name with a lot of role play toys on the market. Amazon.co.uk & Amazon.com along with Tesco Direct are good sites to see their products. | gears
01/2/2013 13:14 | Started this thread with the new name CASDON the old name not used now. The results proved far better than anticpated thanks to larger sales volume. The overseas sales are improving with Casdon a more International brand. With the likes of Dyson,Hotpoint,Numat | gears
25/1/2013 16:58 | How much per share does market cap come to? Thanks | gears
25/1/2013 10:33 | Excellent performance | playful
25/1/2013 10:16 | Market cap still below book value as well, so lots of potential for re-rating. | topvest
25/1/2013 10:16 | Yes, always take you by surprise the Casdon results. These are much better than expected, so very welcome! Looks like internet sales are helping them get more listings for their product. | topvest
25/1/2013 08:04 | These results look great, top of todays leader board maybe | balcony |
