If all the ships are full, then ccl will be rolling in cash, and debt repayments will be a relatively minor expense. (Could someone else do bofp calc to see how much a full ship takes in cash, and how much the costs are?).

Covid seems to be a thing of the past - no checks, just a rec to have a test. No one asked for our diy test result, just if we were 'well' or not. Fully jabbed people have nothing more to do, so boarding is easy. The hassle factor is now low.

To book a cruise on board and get the extra on board credit (on our cruise at least), you have to make an appointment with the sales staff. Stupidly, all slots were booked and several we spoke to couldn't buy their next cruise. Wtf they can't get more sales staff, or have them do longer hours, is beyond me. Especially since nowadays, you can't buy future cruise deposits, with cunard, to get the obc.

Just come off Arcadia which was almost full. Everything went well with shore visits full each day so plenty of profit for the company. Also had presentation on Arvia which looked great and numerous passengers booked for next year including us.

Looking at the RNS l suspect that's 2023 debt repayments that can be taken care of.

I see that as a positive.

Anyone disagree?

It's the last night of our Queen Mary cruise. Everything brilliant. Full, yet the qm2 has plenty of room. Talk today by the qm2 chief designer, what a special ship she is. Play by the new RSC students - incredible. Lots of first the cruisers who'll be back. Shame it's the final night.

Interesting use of the word 'investor' when it comes to this stock. Gambler/Day Trader/Amateur without an f'ing clue all spring to mind but investor ...............

Any investors on the queen Mary this Friday? (I assume no traders will be there!).A short cruise to cheaply get to the top world club level, stuff myself full of salmon, tuna, japanese food, a couple of surf and turfs on the 2 formal evenings, and to buy a few more pairs of substantial German socks in Altona, hopefully learn some better dancing techniques off the world champion dancers they usually have on board (probably on the minimum wage), and relax walking many times round the prom deck. Hopefully no stag parties this time.
