Carnival Celebration completes sea trials ahead of debut

With the new Carnival Celebration entering service just in time for the season, Carnival Cruise Line is planning an expanded winter program in 2022-2023.

The company is not only upping its game in North America with the arrival of a second XL-Class vessel, but also widening its presence in Australia with the debut of the Carnival Luminosa.

Still 11.63% short as of 13/09. Be keeping a close eye as we head towards the next update.

One hopes occupancy is above 80%.

They are inflatable dinghies l think like the ones they use to cross the seas from France to Britin. Hold about 25 refugees on the way to the local car wash.

Last night I had a rummage through pre-covid statements here, net income was $3bn that’s not going to go far when the debt is 10x net income

I also noticed they ordered 25 new boats to be delivered 2020 through 2025, what has happened since, have they cancelled the new boats?

I'm only looking at £4.72 for the bounce towards £6.10.. then the obvious drip towards £2.17.. and just to be safe so I don't lose my nob, I'll be putting in a buy order at £1.93 for an easy doubler..

Hope this helps

I’m obviously not alone in thinking it, and then there’s all that debt to consider at a time when interest rates are rising fast

Since March 2020, Carnival Corporation & plc has raised $25.9 billion through a series of financing transactions. Through Carnival Corporation & plc’s debt management efforts, it has refinanced over $9 billion to date, reducing its future annual interest expense by approximately $400 million per year and extending maturities, optimizing its debt maturity profile. During 2022, Carnival Corporation & plc will continue to be focused on pursuing refinancing opportunities to reduce interest rates and extend maturities.

heads up - USA reporting bid for seabourne from Saudi backed investor. watching and would add if true. 14% shorters may need to close quickly. Results soon and likely to say massive uptake for cruises and passengers numbers increase to near full capacity. £10 target after result day.
