17/11/2017 12:29 | Look, there is a lot of emotion here, but a plan is being executed and it will likely end up stabling the business. 50m here or there at this stage is irrelevant. The management need time to collect cash and dispose assets. No point in winding it up now. Raising 300m next year is possible once they start to show progress. Biggest risk is supplier panic. But that will only force the debt holders to concede on the covenants waiver. They have no choice | dealy
17/11/2017 12:14 | Think this will be put into administration now unfortunately. A rights issue at 5p or something is a possibility, but I just can't see it happening. There will be lots of collateral damage if it goes bust. The directors have been caught out here and their actions are 6 months too late. | topvest
17/11/2017 12:12 | Thanks. Interesting. We must follow the charts rather than the fundamentals then.. In my opinion anyway. | staylow2
17/11/2017 12:08 | It's very small, less than 10%. But of course it can be much higher on specific stocks, especially where you get numpties sucked in. | rcturner2
17/11/2017 12:06 | Out of interest, what part of the market does the retail investor make up in LSE? | staylow2
17/11/2017 12:01 | Next question given the acknowledgement of the now even more serious situation from the company , will the latest internal appointment of FD be deemed to have the skills to steer the company through the maze of RI or D4E ? | fenners66
17/11/2017 11:58 | Erogenous Jones 17 Nov '17 - 09:51 - 9627 of 9638 0 0 I am very grateful to those contributors who had warned me to keep powder dry and pay close attention to the fundamentals. Sorry that the share price has taken another tumble today. Thanks - despite the vitriol posted against what we were saying at the time - that is an absolute vindication - that if just 1 person took what we wrote and had some value out of it, then job done. | fenners66

17/11/2017 11:48 | KULVINDER, I'm delighted to hear you didn't suffer on this. I was just a bit surprised that you claimed in your post that the big boys had kept this a secret, when it really wasn't. | grahamite2
17/11/2017 11:43 | glenkaz, you spouted the same rubbish when this was at 50p. Please stop. It runs the risk that someone might actually read your rubbish | wallywoo

Sorry that the share price has taken another tumble today. If only KULVINDER had paid the same attention. It was hardly a closely kept secret that there were serious issues. Grahamite2, luckily for me, I had hedged both ways - so the net amount on the long side was only a small amount. Personally I have just got to a time in life where I don't have the time and the patience to try and recover losses from the past.. As I said GLA to all.... No Malice to anyone - as each and everyone makes their own decision and pays the price. | kulvinder

17/11/2017 11:07 | Fenners - perhaps I was being too subtle? my point was really one of whoever writes these RNS's is still trying to pull the wool over our eyes. By not providing an actual debt number but hoping to get away with stating an average makes it clear to me there's something they would prefer not to share. Anyways, sad for everyone who was long on this. I think it's completely knackered now. They can talk about balance sheet recapitalisation but in the meantime all suppliers are going to be on the phone every day after their money and reducing credit given to Carillion. That's what's going to kill them - lack of support from the supply chain. Suppliers putting them on stop, insisting on being paid strictly on terms and refusing to work for them at all. Those that do work for them putting their prices up to cover the risk. All of which makes their cash and margin position worse and worse. I'm surprised it's 27p given the shares now look worthless on dilution of debt for equity. Liberium price target now 5p | cc2014
