AS PREDICTED, THE MKT CAP OF CNE IS NOW MORE THAN TLW, IN FACT, I WOULDN'T EVEN VOTE FOR THE TLW MERGER IF TLW WERE FREE BECAUSE THEIR DEBT MOUNTAIN WOULD TRASH CNE!

IT LOOKS LIKE BANK OF AMERICA AND BUYING CHEAPLY UNTIL THEY OWN 30% AND HAVE TO BID FOR THE OTHER 70% BECAUSE THEY CAN EXTRACT UP TO 214P PER SHARE IN CASH AND THEN SELL THE REMAINING ASSETS FOR UP TO 146P PER SHARE!

A simple question. With Bank of America approaching 25 percent ownership. If bank of America continues then they will soon own 30 percent and then have to make a bid. Is that what Bank of America plan?
Alternatively the brokers are now putting Tullow estimates after the merger at about 90p which ar 3.8 give a value on Capricorn of around 340-350.
Are Bank of America buying for another bidder?

There are 5 licences which CNE have with Deltic as JV's and 2 JV's with Shell. But every thing you want to know is on the DELTIC Energy website.

I don't known what Delti would go for. Much depends on the Shell Pensacola drill......but CNE thought Deltics assets were worth drilling in their own estimation....I think they're all 3d seismiced.

Oi
CNE have 4 NSG drills lined up with Deltic......it may be worth buying Deltic given their Shell Pensacola drill due in September... there's also another Deltic asset gas drill that Shell are looking at.

Badger You are right ... "CNE have production".... But in one of the worst jurisdictions (from a cash flow POV) in the world ... Egypt and specifically EGPC is horrible from a netbacks standpoint. All oil bbls are NOT created equal...While the TLW balance sheet is weak , they have highly cash-generative and lower CAPEX assets (that CNE do not have). One company's weakness is another company's strength in this case...

THE TLW MERGER WON'T BE APPROVED BECAUSE THE THRESHOLD IS 75% AND BANK OF AMERICA NOW OWN ALMOST 25% OF CNE AND ARE AGAINST THE TLW MERGER!

CNE/Tullow a big mistake imv.CNE have production, contracts to be executed and the cash to grow organically by selecting appropriate assets.......and remain in CONTROL. Tullow has always been a badly run company and riddled with debt. This won't change going forward....

Silver.. any hard evidence news article etc.) ? Or this just a hope? Please provide any links. At this point I am praying Any company with big pockets comes along and bids for a price north of 2.40 per share, this alone will make the stock jump.

ONLY DEATH AND TAXES ARE GUARANTEED, BUT AFTER RETURNING UP TO 214P PER SHARE VIA AN ISSUE OF B SHARES, CNE WOULD STILL HAVE ASSETS ABOVE 100P PER SHARE (146P)!

Silverstone1 - I assume you are willing to guarantee this price of 100p if they return the 214p?
Say for 1 year?

THE FARCICAL TLW MERGER IS ALSO DUE TO END IN A FORTNIGHT BECAUSE 3.8068 NEW TLW SHARES FOR EACH CNE SHARE IS ONLY 183P, THEREFORE, IT'S TIME TO COME UP WITH PLAN B BY RETURNING UP TO 214P PER SHARE VIA AN ISSUE OF B SHARES AND THE ORDINARY SHARES WOULD STILL BE ABOVE 100P PER SHARE!

SilverSTONE, how does issuing b-shares creat value?..market cap is the valuation.Market cap stays the same...Issuing shares negates the buy back l!?Back at square one without cash!
