13/6/2022 10:45 | I'M VOTING AGAINST THE TLW DEAL AT ANY PRICE BECAUSE THE CNE CASH MOUNTAIN WILL BE TRANSFORMED INTO A DEBT MOUNTAIN AND WHEN THE NEXT BEAR MARKET ARRIVES THE SHARE PRICE WILL COLLAPSE! | silverstone1
13/6/2022 10:37 | THE MAXIMUM AVERAGE PRICE IS 200P AND WITH THE BUYBACK PROGRAMME DUE TO END ON 6 JULY 2022, IT'S LIKELY TO STAY THAT WAY, WITH LESS THAN $25M SPENT, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS TELL BIGGER LIES THAN BORIS! | silverstone1
13/6/2022 09:38 | seen a claim that buy backs are only at 2GBP or less. Seems that 2.22 GBP is leas than 2GBP? | controlledmadness
13/6/2022 09:23 | I think that will be their rationale tron. I still expect the deal to complete but 4.5x TLW would probably be the sweet spot. | nigelpm
13/6/2022 09:15 | Other CNE institutional investors contacted by the Financial Times also suggested the transaction was stacked in favor of Tullow’s shareholders and raised the prospect that the terms might have to be sweetened to secure the required approval of 75 per cent of Capricorn shareholders…. So institutional investors get a day in the matter???? Vote against the merger unless the terms are sweetened or a cash buyer comes along. Either way we want the stock to trade at its fair market value which has not happend for a long time. | tron22
13/6/2022 09:11 | CNE shareholders are in the driving seat here given the balance sheet position. That's all you need to know really. | nigelpm
13/6/2022 09:04 | Yep - everyone posturing atm. Suet | suetballs
13/6/2022 08:55 | Yeah and Tullow's top ten share holder's no doubt reckon that cne get the better deal ha | ctc1
13/6/2022 08:22 | ADG, IN MY CAPACITY AS A PRIVATE INVESTOR WITH A LARGE STAKE, I CONTACTED CNE ON THE SUBJECT, BUT FRIDAY'S IMMATERIAL BUYBACK DOESN'T BREACH THE MAXIMUM AVERAGE PRICE! | silverstone1
13/6/2022 07:32 | As I've said many times total drivel. Meanwhile : Legal and General Investment Management (LGIM) has taken the relatively unusual step of speaking out against the all-share deal, which was announced at the start of June with the unanimous backing of both companies’ boards. Other institutional investors contacted by the Financial Times also suggested the transaction was stacked in favour of Tullow’s shareholders and raised the prospect that the terms might have to be sweetened to secure the required approval of 75 per cent of Capricorn shareholders. LGIM, a top 10 investor in Capricorn with a 3.9 per cent stake, said in a statement sent to the FT that “as a responsible investor, we have strong reservations about the proposed transaction”. “It is our opinion that there is no clear strategic rationale for the combination.” | nigelpm
13/6/2022 07:27 | SHOUTING - TODAYS RNS SAYS OTHERWISE SILVERSTONE; ——— Silverstone110 Jun '22 - 08:00 - 7240 of 7244 0 0 0 WE NOW HAVE EVIDENCE THAT THE BUYBACK PROGRAMME AVERAGE PRICE IS A MAXIMUM OF 200P BECAUSE IT'S DUE TO END ON 6 JULY 2022, HOWEVER, BUYBACKS HAVE ENDED EARLY, TO PREVENT BREACHING THE MAXIMUM AVERAGE PRICE! | adg
11/6/2022 22:13 | You lot moan about your own management who don't perform to investors expectations and are glad to see the back of em; well guess what, if this deal goes through you will get the worst CEO managing the new company ever, he ain't done nothing since arriving to improve TLW share price. Soooooooo, vote both CEO’s out, or you will endure long term pain placed on TLW shareholders. VOTE NO! This certainly ain't a good deal for TLW or you moaning lot! | fizzmiss
11/6/2022 16:34 | lol your kidding but in agreement this deal should not go through. The TLW share price has been manipulated lower for the last 2 years to enable you to get TLW assets on the cheap. So, yea vote no to this deal, TLW don't need your chicken feed money. | fizzmiss
10/6/2022 15:30 | CASH IS KING, THEREFORE, 47% OF THE COMBINED GROUP IS UNFAIR, CNE SHOULD OWN 53% OR 50% AT THE VERY LEAST! | silverstone1
10/6/2022 08:00 | WE NOW HAVE EVIDENCE THAT THE BUYBACK PROGRAMME AVERAGE PRICE IS A MAXIMUM OF 200P BECAUSE IT'S DUE TO END ON 6 JULY 2022, HOWEVER, BUYBACKS HAVE ENDED EARLY, TO PREVENT BREACHING THE MAXIMUM AVERAGE PRICE! | silverstone1
09/6/2022 09:50 | Nigel At least you got in sub £2 and made a profit. I turned my back and boom, the door closed! Missed the opportunity. Oh well, can't win them all. | geckotheglorious
09/6/2022 09:37 | Nigel a profits a profit, simple!! With I'd bought some recently, have been in and out of cne from pre India days, always a nice trade. | dunderheed
09/6/2022 09:18 | Such is life - I made very good profit from this buying under £2 so I'm not overly upset about it. Timing was poor and disappointing but that's life. | nigelpm
09/6/2022 09:06 | Hi nigelpm Pity you sold a large chunk especially as you had a better handle on this than most. Will be interesting to see what transpires from here. | churchill2
09/6/2022 09:05 | CNE UP AND TLW DOWN IMPLIES EITHER IMPROVED TERMS OR COUNTER OFFER(S) TO COME! | silverstone1
09/6/2022 08:49 | Must be another bid now rising too fast daily not to be. I still say 265p knocks it out the park | finkie
09/6/2022 07:00 | PATIENCE PAYS OFF FOR THOSE WHO DIDN'T SELL ON MONDAY AT 208P!😂 | silverstone1 |
