Drivel - to use that wonderful word again. That won't happen.

What are the chances that the price is being controlled, for lack of a better word, to allow a lower price of repurchasing shares. Ironically, the lower the price during the repurchase the better for holders at the end as it is reserve dilution.... Just a thought...

Not so good for current shareholders. Whereas other oil companies have risen and paying dividend, Capricorn have not.

Buyback doing its job again - there's a reason why the average is around £2 - because the market keeps taking it there - really good job so far - mopping up on falls.

The overall average is 200p a share - yesterday they bought heavily - today they will buy heavily

In all fairness.... CNE went through... 1. Dividend / stock consolidation, 2. Tender
of 1 (circa billion) stock buy back program, with the stock price, left in the toilet ... how was this a good return to investors?? If after all of the accounting manipulation, the end result is a lower stock price... (buying back stock, and cancelling seed shares), still results in lower stock price........ feels like a hustle??? Someone please tell me where is the value for those holding shares worth less than expected VALUE . All of this CNE activity should have boosted the stock price!!!
I am starting to suspect foul play !!!

IT IS TRUE, SINCE 7 APRIL 2022, AVERAGE PRICE PAID PER SHARE IS UNDER 200P!

That’s not true as they paid a high of 205.4 and an average of 204 yesterday.

CNE SHOULD COPY AV BY ISSUING ONE 'B SHARE' FOR EVERY EXISTING SHARE AND THEN IMMEDIATELY REDEEM THEM FOR 79P APIECE BECAUSE IT'S THE FAIREST WAY TO RETURN INDIAN PROCEEDS TO ALL SHAREHOLDERS!

J.P. MORGAN HAVE OBVIOUSLY BEEN INSTRUCTED TO KEEP AVERAGE PRICE PAID PER SHARE TO UNDER 200P!

Its pretty simple...its a vehicle to keep staff cosy n fat in Edinburgh. They sold off decent assets at bottom dollar and bought Shell's cast-offs in Egypt. Thank heavens them Indians coughed up and them Ruskies / Ukrainies started a war....else this share would be in the toilet.

Shares consolidation = accounting trick to keep stock from falling to much after awarding a dividend. Share buyback is suppose to decrease amount of shares on the market thus increasing the price of the stock………. After all the purchased shares, why is this stock price still in the toilet? Come on Capricorn management. We want answers!!!

SINCE 7 APRIL 2022, THE COMPANY HAS PURCHASED 5,726,848 SHARES AT A COST (INCLUDING DEALING AND ASSOCIATED COSTS) OF £11,396,373.36. THEREFORE, IT'S NOT "DRIVEL" BECAUSE AVERAGE PRICE PAID PER SHARE IS UNDER 200P!

No problem - that's what we are here for ;-)

It was thanks to you flagging it up that I looked - never occurred to me it might be "hidden" in the AGM resolutions.

Isn't that covered by the second condition on bid price?

I think there is a restriction- not set out in RNS - set by LSE-AIM rules to maintain an orderly market. I've asked JSE about buybacks and was told this info though without detail

Interestingly it is the same as was applied previously :

hxxps://www.capricornenergy.com/media/2933/cairn-energy-agm-notice-2021.pdf

So that "drivel" that kept getting posted by Silverstone was as I said at the time just that!
