Heat. Nope, just watching.
Kinda in the "sell in May"... camp with most shares, amazing how when you look at most shares performance over say past 5 yrs, how all generally go down over summer.
But am still mostly invested, little cash set aside for opportunities.
Mind you, markets will get a bump up when debt ceiling is raised in US, but when and how long it will last for, we'll that's the question.
But who knows, may jump back in here one day.

This just proves that the uk market for small caps is absolutely a morgue. Two great announcements from a company with 3.5 billion of revenue and we have almost zero volume and no buying

Capita PLC Capita selected as preferred bidder to deliver new FASSource: UK Regulatory (RNS & others)TIDMCPI 25 May 2023 Capita selected as preferred bidder to deliver new Functional Assessment Service Capita has been confirmed as the preferred bidder to deliver Functional Assessment Service (FAS) assessments in the Midlands and Wales for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and in Northern Ireland for the Department for Communities (DfC). The two contracts are worth a combined £565m and will run for five years from 2024 to 2029, with an additional option to extend for a further two years. FAS is a new service that will bring together existing assessment services for disabled people and people with health conditions under a single provider in each geographical region. This will make accessing support simpler and easier for some of society's most vulnerable people. Capita will deliver assessments for Personal Independence Payment (PIP), Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) and Universal Credit (UC), as well as a number of specialist benefits including Child Disability Living Allowance (DLA) and Veterans UK assessments. In the Midlands and Wales, Capita will partner with Maximus, the assessment provider responsible for Health and Disability Assessment Services (HDAS) in Great Britain since 2015. Jon Lewis, Capita's Chief Executive Officer, said: "We are proud to have been selected as the preferred bidder to deliver these new contracts, which are central to the Government's long-term plan for health assessments. "We will bring our strong track record for delivery in this sector and our relentless focus on quality and claimant experience to this range of benefits. We will also be investing in our health professionals who deliver such a vital public service." Capita has been delivering PIP assessments in England and Wales since 2013, and in Northern Ireland since 2016. Notes to editors: The total IFRS 15 transaction price (order book) is £565m over five years (DWP: £453.3m and DfC: £111.4m).

Problem is we were told the outcome previously at least twice. Each time the impact has to be revised up. The BOD seem to have a motto of deny, deny, deny. This is more than unhelpful when you are investing in the company. In my view despite being heavily invested I have less confidence in their honesty and credibility.

This will creep back up to 40p imo over the coming few weeks. The market will realise that a cyber attack is no big deal.

Until we know the extent of damage done nobody can predict what the share price will do.in the meantime the uncertainty will take the share price down to 30p

Dealy...Yes, I agree a cyber-attack can hit every company. I just think this is now quite a headwind for them. Obviously, I am impacted by the letter I have just received. I am not inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt, given my pension scheme has u-turned their position on the cyber attack over the last month from not being impacted to definitely being impacted. I can understand that you and others may feel differently. Good luck.

A cyber attack like this can hit any company. The bidders list will be non existent if perfection is a requirement

LOL - not de-ramping. It's my data that has been leaked! If I don't sell a share in that situation I would be pretty stupid. You make your own decisions. Capita is a recovering business, but I think this is a fairly major setback as they seem to have leaked millions of pension members' data which is not terribly clever!

Thanks - yes, not too woried by the leak. Just think that Capita has mis-represented the position. 4% of the server could equal 50% of their personal data in a few files. Who knows? My scheme has about 6k members. M&S, Diageo, USS all big schemes - must be loads of schemes impacted! Anyone else now think the 4% server stat. was misleading? They should have come out with the bad news first, rather than first admitting that it took 9 days to interrupt (which is far too long) and then trying to indicate it was a fairly minor exfiltration which it clearly isn't.
