07/4/2023 20:37 | I'm hoping for no additional update personally: "The issue was limited to parts of the Capita network and there is no evidence of customer, supplier or colleague data having been compromised. We have restored Capita colleague access to Microsoft Office 365 and we are making good progress restoring remaining client services in a secure and controlled manner. We will update the market further, should there be a need to provide any additional information, in due course." Any further update would likely be admission that the cyber incident needs to be upgraded to a data breach, that would not be good for the shareprice. | al101uk
07/4/2023 09:52 | I assume that by declaring an incident, the implication is there may be material impact, if so, surely we are due an update, although the RNS is at best woolly on this point? | ruffj
04/4/2023 08:12 | I suspect even the best car manufacturer in the world has cars returned .. | gripfit
04/4/2023 08:01 | grip the company RNS headline cyber incident 🤦 The only ref I have made to it as a 'incident' was in relation to itil were it would be classed as a major incident Things fail from time to time .. Capita have stated as per RNS cyber incident | heatseek77

04/4/2023 07:09 | grip I'd flipping hope so, but how many other msp do you hear who are taken out for days due to cyber incidents? I can only think of Fujitsu (£4.4m fine if remember correctly?) So imho I don't think they've enhanced reputation... mho below Of course it's not a non issue 🤦 Capita is an MSP so if they can't protect own network what do you think current and possible future customers will think? | heatseek77
04/4/2023 07:00 | grip, investor relations very selective in words used imho - which would be, as it's job to be | heatseek77

Of course it's not a non issue 🤦 Capita is an MSP so if they can't protect own network what do you think current and possible future customers will think? | heatseek77
04/4/2023 06:23 | Looks like THE TIMES are milking this one … clearly they want to stick the boot in ..It’s the only paper that seems to be running anything on this NON issue | gripfit
04/4/2023 06:17 | Imho Capita may have some £ to pay out due to last week's 'cyber attack' it's usually built in contracts hxxps://www.thetimes | heatseek77

03/4/2023 07:07 | Agreed, shouldn't happen...for me it depends exactly what happened and what was compromised but they have been confident enough to open up so hoping it's at the lesser end of the spectrum | dylanl2
03/4/2023 06:49 | Certainly classify it as a major incident under ITIL 😂🤣 | heatseek77
03/4/2023 06:48 | 🤷 not sure where we will end up today? Tbh I've consulted to HP, Sopra, Sungard, Siemens, Capita, IBM, Microsoft - all I would say imho for a tech company this shouldn't really happen.. | heatseek77
03/4/2023 06:37 | Capita plc - Update on cyber incident On Friday 31st March, Capita plc ("Capita") experienced a cyber incident primarily impacting access to internal Microsoft Office 365 applications. This caused disruption to some services provided to individual clients, though the majority of our client services remained in operation. Our IT security monitoring capabilities swiftly alerted us to the incident, and we quickly invoked our established and practised technical crisis management protocols. Immediate steps were taken to successfully isolate and contain the issue. The issue was limited to parts of the Capita network and there is no evidence of customer, supplier or colleague data having been compromised. Working in collaboration with our specialist technical partners, we have restored Capita colleague access to Microsoft Office 365 and we are making good progress restoring remaining client services in a secure and controlled manner. We will update the market further, should there be a need to provide any additional information, in due course | heatseek77
