LOL - not de-ramping. It's my data that has been leaked! If I don't sell a share in that situation I would be pretty stupid. You make your own decisions. Capita is a recovering business, but I think this is a fairly major setback as they seem to have leaked millions of pension members' data which is not terribly clever!

Thanks - yes, not too woried by the leak. Just think that Capita has mis-represented the position. 4% of the server could equal 50% of their personal data in a few files. Who knows? My scheme has about 6k members. M&S, Diageo, USS all big schemes - must be loads of schemes impacted! Anyone else now think the 4% server stat. was misleading? They should have come out with the bad news first, rather than first admitting that it took 9 days to interrupt (which is far too long) and then trying to indicate it was a fairly minor exfiltration which it clearly isn't.

Had a letter from my defined benefit pension fund and my data has apparently been exfiltrated. Previously, it was thought not to be a problem for my scheme. On the basis that the media are endlessly hounding the company, and the 4% server estate exfiltrated I am getting jumpy that the situation is worse. Either I am very unlucky or some very big pension funds are on the exfiltration list. I personally think they are being misleading to investors and we are possibly talking millions of people within the 4%. I have been offered unlimited access to an Experian Identity Plus service for 12m. This will be costing Capita presumably.

Anyway, I think the fall-out from this could be higher than envisaged as you are going to have thousands or millions of really unhappy people. Let's face they are not going to be winning many tenders at the moment. I've sold my shares as the position here has now materially changed. Lucky to make 26% in 5 months. Will keep on my watch list, but I don't trust what they are saying.

long term holder , but i dont like the look of that chart, looks like a dive to sub 30p is not impossible, gonna make more funds available if i am correct.

So in this press release earlier today, Capita are mentioned as an indicative FTSE250 addition although it does say that the actual review will be conducted using data as at market close on Tuesday 30th May. Confirmed rebalance changes will be announced after market close on Wednesday 31st May.

So fingers crossed the price holds up for the next week or so.

This document seems to have all the relevant dates for market capitalisation data cut off for promotion or demotion from or to the FTSE100/250 etc.

Imho if get re entry back into 250 which currently will by a margin, then we will hear reassuring good news re the incident (and I think we may get a decent rise there after)
