Emailed HP last night came back in an hour 👍🏻 basically
Agreed The Times coverage has got rather predictable. Media team and PR consultants will continue to engage with them and work at changing the narrative. Ultimately, believes this will come from continuing to deliver operationally for clients and improving financial results and returns for shareholders and so that is what continue to focus on.

Fair enough 👍🏻

Just as Microsoft cannot be held accountable for the security breach of Capita's Azure service.

The data loss on their side was minimal.

They cannot know what data was taken from pension funds as they don't manage that data. They are not responsible either for that data as stated clearly in their terms of service

Particularly lazy reporting by Katie Prescott in the Times. She doesn't see the irony when reporting on the decline of Capita that she has to write two articles (padded out with a rehash of earlier articles) on the same topic. As editor of the Times I would be worried about the lack of imagination of Prescott, my current business editor, and as general counsel of the Times I would be concerned about a writ coming from Capita especially with two close to identical stories written in the same edition. Talk about a vendetta.

It’s absurd to think that every individual should receive mega payouts as a result of a hack … ,,,, just change your bank details … the rest is worthless ,,, there’s 70 million of us in the U.K. alone ,,

Hartlink is a portal not the database. Just a software to allow user to log in.

NoFear read Hartlink terms and conditions available on their website.

Also the data is held by the pension funds and not Hartlink. If pension had not implemented strong security for their members it's not Hartlink (Capita's issue).

One of my retirement schemes is managed by Capita & it had only recently switched over to a new platform. I have had no communique yet from either Capita or the Scheme concerned so will be interesting to see if i do. Everyone has an agenda. I’m not overly worried. All databases can be hacked & to not believe so would be naive. I very much doubt i would get a penny in compensation that some are suggesting.
