Capita agrees to sell non-core software businesses

Capita plc (`Capita') today confirms that it has agreed to sell software
businesses CIBS, CHKS, Retain, WFM and Synaptic to AdvancedAdvT Limited
(`AdvancedAdvT') for an enterprise value of £33m on a cash-free, debt-free
basis. Including cash and debt-like items and typical working capital
adjustments, Capita expects to receive cash proceeds of c£44m on completion,
including c£9m of cash within the sold businesses at the time of the
transaction.

Dipa have to agree to disagree on cloud (no pun intended) hanging over company due to the cyber attack. I emailed HP direct and response company getting on with BAU but for me £ remains a concern

Cyber attack is now old story now the focus is on rebuild the company with strong product and protection from cyber attack. Few more company has been fallen in Cyber attack and now they are normal traded in the current market Eagerly waiting for the 19th Jun 23 for D Day.

Dipa I'm lth been in since this apl'22 and agree looking forward to update and ftse250 but when HP did the investors call said expected to conclude investigations into cyber incident I believe was a week after?!
Personally think we need full stop on that before anything else with some update on what will cost the company, ico cost etc. I think this has led to nidiots like nofear (alias myretirementfund on advfn) continuing to spout tripe
