09/7/2015 10:48 | There is no mention of Poker specifically, and there is no mention of Kalixa, Intertrader or the other desing / techy business that grew 80% last year. £1.10 for the gaming side only? 09/7/2015 10:11 | at the cricket now for a great day, England get 440 then aussies make heavy weather of 350, an English summer at the test match, what could be better, oh and a crate of fosters, an a picnic. | stephen1946
09/7/2015 09:30 | Bwin.party confirmed that it has received an improved takeover offer from smaller rival GVC Holdings priced at 11p per share in new shares and cash that would value it at roughly £900m. | gotnorolex
09/7/2015 09:06 | In May, GVC Holdings had submitted a bid for Bwin.Party, which put itself up for sale last year. The lender listed on the Riyadh bourse in November 2014 after the largest-ever initial public offer of shares in the Arab world. (What will the Saudi’s say?) | gotnorolex

09/7/2015 08:49 | Bwin.party to Work With GVC on 110-Pence-a-Share Buyout Bid 888 said last month that its proposal to buy Bwin.party includes cash and shares. It didn’t specify the price. | gotnorolex
09/7/2015 08:48 | I would accept myself, just to get more cheap gvc shares. | srpactive
09/7/2015 08:47 | This deal is only going ahead if it can be recommended by the board, when they know they have the support of the major holders. GVC will not get involved with a formal offer unless they can be certain of success. Exactly how they handled the SBT acquisition. | mylands
09/7/2015 08:41 | I would leave the champagne on ice for now. I repeat, my 230k say, no thanks. | stephen1946
09/7/2015 08:40 | Fold, call or raise ? | az209
09/7/2015 08:40 | To those who think that someone else is going to enter the fray, or 888 top GVC's proposal/offer, just look at the muted response to today's announcement of the BPTY share price Up 2p to 101p. I have learned you should never ignore what the market is saying, it rarely gets it totally wrong. | mylands
09/7/2015 08:35 | Still a bit wishy-washy, only a proposal! “GVC confirms offer talks with bwin.party” “There can be no certainty that an offer for bwin.party will be made”. | gotnorolex
09/7/2015 08:33 | loganair You are correct, the board of BPTY has not accepted an offer from GVC. This is because at this time there isn't one on the table, but they have given every indication in their statement (see below) that they will recommend 110p, and are working with GVC to that end. 'The Board has considered the GVC proposal, the potential benefits of which it believes can accrue to bwin.party shareholders from a combination of the two companies and the commitment shown to resolving a number of transaction-related issues, and has determined to work with GVC so that they can finalise their offer over the coming days.' | mylands
09/7/2015 08:33 | Teufelburglar will say that the offer is too low and no deal, imo. | eeza
09/7/2015 08:25 | Despite the mild reaction of the markets, financial analysts seem to think Amaya's takeover of Bwin could be a good move for all the parties involved in the deal. | loganair
09/7/2015 08:22 | Nothing in the RNS that says the board of Bwin has accepted the offer and are irreversibly selling their shares. | loganair
09/7/2015 08:17 | It's taken 9 months of discussions to come up with such a derisory offer. | loganair
09/7/2015 08:15 | Update RNS bwin.party remains confident of turning fortunes around! New figures in line with expectations. | gotnorolex
09/7/2015 08:08 | How can you know what they play ??? | blackrocktrader
09/7/2015 08:03 | No rush for 888, they can sit around for weeks now seeing if anyone else is interested. lets just see where gvc price goes, plus there is a little matter of GREECE, if Greece spooks the market the lift will hurtle down. 888 are playing it right for me. | stephen1946
09/7/2015 07:52 | Now you will see if 888 are still interested. | srpactive |
