Still have some very close old school chums in Wein and Graz with whom I once traded coffee (Kopi Luwak) in the very old days of commodity quotas, when it was possible to to trade B2B from a single room office with only a desk, waste paper basket,telex machine and phone. Happy days! The Chicago Mercantile Exchange now rules as faraway as they are. Well retired now but do take a looksee now and then for old time sake!

gotno..... what I think you are saying is that a higher percentage rise occurs on Exchanges where quoted in Euros v £ sterling.

Out of curiosity, do you always follow European Stock Exchanges as well as LSE?

Hubs, here is last nights close on the Vienna exchange, price & graph shows the rise but got up too late this morning to copy and paste before it re-calibrated for this AM's trade. ie Friday close 1.37 Monday close 1.40 = 2.19% rise

Hub ..personally I wudnt rely on Advfn when it quotes increases its often wrong ..I just go by the bid/offer and compare it to what I remembered it to be

gotno - what????? I'm a bit confused by your post. On my page (ADVFN monitor) it says up almost 1%. How do you get 2.19%?

BPTY closed up 2.19% on previous trading day closing price in Oosterich, quoted in Euros so allow for currency movements post Greek referendum. We may see continuation of upward trend tomorrow!

Amaya chat forums are full of, Amaya dividend under threat, no reasons given, other than, apart from investigators are crawling all over the Amaya H.Q. and Baazov home. What a story this could turn out to be. Amaya trading lower but that can be expected with the Greece situation still in a state of flux.


Plus Amaya holders are now certain that 888 has been chosen as preferred bidder.

I agree it has been notable today that both 888 and BPTY have risen equally, although 888 on very little volume indeed. If you examine both their charts though, it is to be expected(may have changed again now); and that GVC and AYA have fallen by a similar margin.

It could just be a big trader / institution pairs trading.
