I wonder what percentage of lives it has ruined compared to the number of citizens that want it regulated. That would be the statistic that would force a decision.


The likelihood is, that the addict has an addictive personality anyway and if it wasn't poker it would be the horses or they would be in a casino. The difference being that Addleson owns the casino, but not the online business.

My assumption has always been, whoever gets bpty, their shareprice will drop and the losers price will rise. Nothing scientific, it is always the case.

BPTY has a foot in USA gaming and a little toe in China, got to be worth more than £1.07?

How about a Friday afternoon announcement?, it cant be far away now surely?.

Obama a big poker fan apparently. Perhaps NJ has been used as the 'sample market' and they are now ready to move and quickly. There will be political competition with China I would think, as whoever gets there first, will likely dominate the scene, even if Pokerstars currently biggest online facility. China very clearly working away at their own agenda.

UIGEA was whipped through at record speed on back of another bill, so there is hope. Lets face it, in the words of George Michael, "you gotta have faith"
