HL still doesn't list a price having stopped showing all broker's forecasts a long time ago. Their problem is what they do stops working, and doesn't get fixed.

I find them very frustrating - hugely powerful platform, fx rates and margins are great - but the mobile app is dreadfully wonky HL is extremely basic but at least what it does always works

IB are great but the CS query screen is absolute garbage.

good luck , i have a query outstanding with them , will advise when they have deemed it necessary to reply and resolve.

I could start a new thread, but it would probably be better if a blue poster did the deed, in case there is a need for moderation! Any offers?

Apparently there are 1.33m lawyers in the US. BUR should be in all of their pension funds.

Agree that it's probable there will be a trade off between weaker holders cashing in on small gains and new US one coming on board that might restrict the share price initially. Also, if it's institutions that were previously blocked from holding coming in, they'll potentially have some ability to control the price whilst they build up their position(s). When the IIs have mopped up free floating PI shares and built up positions to levels they're happy with (if that's what indeed happens)is when personally I'd expect bigger price movements to be more likely.

Kaos: Someone correct me if I'm wrong but my understanding is that the vast majority of BUR cases come through law firm referrals. The client approaches the law firm who refers them to BUR for funding. Whilst the client may get the final decision on who funds, I think Bogart made a point on one of the investor calls that they'll typically go with who the law firm they want to represent them has a good relationship with. BUR's also going down the portfolio funding route where they fund a whole collection of a given law firms cases. The law circles PR machine would therefore be vastly more important at the current time. That's just my reading on it.

Perhaps we need a new board then to keep it up todate. Thanks bamboo
The road ahead is clear with all that nonsense about the financials clearly behind us.

Can we have a nasdaq chart in the header please.
Is there any reason not to think this should be at an all time high.

I think BUR is going places -

1. by listing in the US - it was the perfect seal of approval of its accounts
2. huge business of US cases is even more at its doors - completed with the US state support when it comes to the international cases
3. US markets have huge liquidity to be put somewhere - BUR can run many funds financed primarly by fixed return (at low costs) and collecting management fee

and point No 3 is imho the main strategic reason going US

now - as a US listed Co we will probably see more cases buying activity - cash deployment - and that is big cases, class action, big corporations, soverign - as big cases tend to have better overall ROI.

considering the Yanks love of suing, anyone remember the fat lass driving with McD's coffee wedged betwixt her thighs?, I expected more buzz surrounding BUR's US listing, did CNBC ignore it completely?
Or maybe Brits like stickin' it to the Argies more?
