Hi Maddox,.I just tried to deal in my nominee ISA account and was declined. The rationale seems to be that settlement would occur after the trading split and the default would then be to NY - whilst my nominee has chosen for their existing holding to remain 100% on AIM..Hope that helps! tightfist

Interesting presentation and Q&A by CB for Shares last night on various topics including from memory:-

- a decision whether to declare a final dividend will be taken at the time of the 2020 final results, CB made the point many firms had cancelled their dividend due to the pandemic.

- will stick with UK and IFRS reporting regime for now but if the percentage of shares held by US investors exceeds 50% (it is currently low 30's%) then may move to US and quarterly reporting.

- CB not aware of any continuing Muddy Waters short position being held.

The presentation will probably be put up on the Shares site in the next few days for those interested.

IG told me I could trade continuous. Don’t need to do a trade at the moment but it lets me go all the way through screens to point of confirm button coming up so unless there’s validation running on the press of that button all is looking ok to transact.

It's a shadow listing on NYSE Still remains AIM listed with U.K. tax status (potential IHT benefits and no stamp duty - which given how often I've traded Bur I'm happy about) US to U.K. tax isn't too problematic - W1BEN form gets divi withholding tax down to 15 percent and 0 if in a SIPP (if you are paying U.K. tax on divi then you can offset on your tax return the US WHT) - it takes 5 mins to fill this form in on-line

well - there is tax issue for me - international accords about double tax - and I can reccomend you too to be aware of it (coming) - it is important not to own US (listed) stock - because of filling the forms and reporting and complications etc that comes with yenks -

if not now in UK - just wait

unfortunately there is a mantra - avoid US - with a reason

Bur lists on NYSE next Monday the 19th, so can track the price on Google if nothing else, I'm with Interactive Investor and would expect to see the US Burford then in my p/folio or possibly a few days hence, but perhaps it will just show the AIM details as usual.

I hold GAN which was on AIM, then listed in the US, there was a delay of a few days then it just showed it priced in $. But with the dual listing I don't know...

Very glad to see the share price has made headway...

I don't think I've ever seen a stock which isn't suspended but which a lot of brokers can't trade for a few days. Could lead to either nothing happening or weird moves on low volume
