The market needs to see action on the real issues of corporate governance and profit recognition which remain barely addressed. This ought to be Burford's priority. In addition, the election results from Argentina make it very unlikely, imo, that there will be negotiation of a settlement of the Petersen case. Instead, very protracted trench warfare over years and years is now more than likely. The potential sale of a further tranche of the Petersen and Eton Park cses would now seem more difficult.
