This is what SweetKarolina wrote just yesterday:

“Lightning is gonna strike the same place twice with Gotham wading in!”

How ridiculous does that sound now?? “Wading in”!!!!!!!

B+, absolutely right. SK is talking garbage (again). I think she is very naive.

SK

I’m not sure why Burford would allow MW to “walk away with dignity.” Where is the dignity with MW.

Well this part of the Gotham diatribe was worth stressing I suppose!

“The shares of companies targeted by short sellers often end up trading at a discount”.

You’re not very good at answering questions are you SweetK? You were oh so sure this would be a hammer blow from Gotham! What happened??

And have you worked out who has been in business longer - Apple or Nokia?

The Gotham piece provides an opportunity for both sides to walk away with dignity. It will be interesting to see whether both have the good sense to take that opportunity. I doubt they will, as it is not in the nature of people who thrive on adversarial processes to seize such opportunities.

Apparently one can seek Justice in the stock market.
Interesting notion!

“Speak truth to power.”
and
“Comfort the afflicted, afflict the comfortable."

I saw similar slogans when I worked in Cuba.

Viva la revolucion!
Muerte al Capitalismo!

We all know whose side these folks wielding power are on!

As grs says: Pathetic, if not puerile.
Greta Thunberg-esque!

Yes, agreed that a premium of some kind is justified. As I’ve said....below £5 is undervalued and above £10 overvalued in my opinion. At £15-20 it was overvalued. Management deliberately don’t report book value as a KPI as they don’t want it valued against book value for obvious reasons, when the share price was high.

Still waiting for MWs response to BURs refutal. If there is nothing new or compelling in that then it’s game over in favour of BUR.

The Gotham report has clearly been put out to underpin MW’s defence in court. It is a diatribe justifying why the shorting industry is of benefit to society. Moroever, it’s publication so soon after the MW report shows clear collusion between the two shorting companies. Anyway share price will move onwards and upwards given the weak response put out by Gotham.
