Wouldn't surprise me if next results report is underwhelming as they take a conservative approach on fair value figures as all eyes will be watching. I think that in itself will hit the share price

Muddy Waters will try and chuck some more mud and muddy the picture. Fundamentally, they are moaning about the difference between profit and cash. Either you believe that the cash will continue to come in or you don't.

Trouble is with these reports, most people take the view that there is no smoke without fire. Damage already done and this company will now be under close scrutiny going forward. Think these short attacks need to be better regulated.

A very interesting situation here as litigation funding has always been questionable from an accounting and cash flow perspective. The risks and rewards have always been high. I think that Muddy Waters deserve to be taken to court. It cannot be right to publish such an explosive report without giving the company a chance to respond. The Board of Burford should be congratulated for their speedy response on the allegations, most of which seem to be unfounded. Then again, I think Burford was overvalued. Fundamentally, it’s an investment company and should be valued at a small premium to its book value.

That is a major worry such a smallish buy by dir at those levels. Think they know there will be opportunities to buy in the 300's when MW respond! Would not touch this share now

He bought in DOLLARS ....it was 2m dollars worth.
I thought it was each but maybe combined.
