28/10/2022 09:26 | Article in the Retail Gazette speculating on what Frasers Group's strategy could be in relation to the positions it has taken this year in various retailers including N Brown. | no dice
27/10/2022 20:44 | I never thought I'd ever buy anything from this place but I did on the Jacamo site. They were all branded tops, I set up an account in no time selected the shirts everything in stock every size available didn't ask for credit just paid it straight off. It was standard delivery ordered on the night of the 25th, got confirmation email on 26th to say dispatched, arrived on the 27th. All free delivery as well. Smooth as silk and every shirt fitted perfectly. Well impressed. Was it a one off? Who knows. If I get service I'm happy. Now I've no idea what they're like when they F Up though. | creditcrunchies
27/10/2022 12:01 | Re 5429 Reminds me of when I applied for a loan at Lloyds - they asked the reason so I said to buy Lloyds stock haha. I am still here, I think this is fundamentally a good company but needs dividends again really. I tend to think the problems at BOO and ASOS mean people avoid this one, as well as the litigation. | spagboll
26/10/2022 22:27 | It does look like they've revamped their websites seems a lot slicker compared to the last time I looked. Their Jacamo site blends into their home essentials. Also noticed they're well stocked in all sizes in most of the lines I checked out. Last time they were out of stock of pretty much everything. Is that a sign of efficiency in the supplier chain or they're not shifting as much stock. We'll find out soon enough. One of the comments made me laugh it said please give me more credit so I can buy more of your stuff lol | creditcrunchies
26/10/2022 13:07 | Aye In watching for signs of life but volume is non existent and the spread is not good I stand by what I posted in 5425 but have no inclination to buy into a currently dead stock | nav_mike
26/10/2022 09:00 | I've never seen such low volume on these before. Hello is there anybody there? | creditcrunchies
19/10/2022 01:44 | hope for a takeover at 40p .. or less | jackson83
16/10/2022 12:13 | Can't see the Alliance family in a rush to sell out at a loss, especially when having money in AIM is part of their inheritance planning. | red ninja
16/10/2022 11:19 | A portent of things to come? "MySale urges shareholders to accept Frasers Group offer despite ‘undervaluing& | no dice
13/10/2022 11:19 | This court case has been hanging around for years it's making it vulnerable to predators to chance their arm in getting an offer in at huge discount. Now it's getting hit by a slowdown in the economy all of sudden Fraser's start accumulating. | creditcrunchies
13/10/2022 10:57 | At least Alliance and co. are aligned in their pain with all other long-term BWNG holders. | no dice
13/10/2022 08:50 | His thinking is the same as mine on this one let me relieve your pain brothers I'll take the lot for 50p is what is going through their minds. | creditcrunchies
13/10/2022 08:40 | HTPps://masterinvest | davebowler
12/10/2022 10:35 | Alliance family control this They ain't selling out at anything close to this price Maybe when Baron David moves on and the inheritance-free AIM status becomes significant in tax planning... they might consider an offer substantially higher than .25 pence...imho | baronet bill
12/10/2022 08:59 | If a bid comes in you don't get any warning looking at the ones I've had recently you just wake up one day look at your portfolio and think that looks weird it's showing a big jump in value. Last one was Microfocus which I was buying in at around 300p on average then out of the blue it went straight to 520p. There was that one called AIR I think all of a sudden it almost doubled when a bid came in. Only trouble is this guy is cheapskate he does deals at rock bottom prices looking for a quick profit. | creditcrunchies
12/10/2022 08:46 | even if he eventually gets these for 60p which around the level the Alliance family paid it's still a huge discount from book value of 100p. Get that court case wrapped up, as a recovery play these could be 150p-200p at fair value when retail has recovered in about 2 years time. | creditcrunchies
12/10/2022 08:19 | If he wants more stock then at 40p a wave of sellers will come in like it did when in the summer they released impressive results. Intraday it surged up from 25p to 40p then closed at 35p then slowly collapsed to about 19p. | creditcrunchies
11/10/2022 20:21 | FWIW I think it is highly unlikely that the Alliances would consider selling out down here. If anything now is the time to take the company private with a 2-3 year turnaround and Ashley probably thinks he can double his money in short order. | tiswas
11/10/2022 18:54 | It all depends on the deal they've done with the Alliance family if any. They look to hoover up on the cheap looking at their form | creditcrunchies |
