06/10/2022 07:44 | No material development on Allianz, which is all that really matters here. | boystown

03/10/2022 23:27 | Some retail are announcing strong figures at the budget end of the market like Lidl, Aldi, Wickes so they might surprise but they are also at the budget end of clothes. You never know until you do | creditcrunchies
03/10/2022 23:23 | I noticed a lot of RNs about employee share scheme in recent months, there hasn't been any trading update since June where they announced buoyant sales which caused the share price to surge to 40p. They announce results this Thursday. Fingers crossed because everybody else in retail has announced a slow down | creditcrunchies
30/9/2022 11:05 | i've had to close my position for a heavy loss here. Hate doing it but need to harvest the loss for end of year accounting. If I try closing all losses in December it would be too difficult mentally. Also at those levels I had to question myself. Would I rather hold these at these levels or asos / boohoo? | farrugia
29/9/2022 12:20 | Nearly 5m in shares today alone. All off-book | camo1997
29/9/2022 11:18 | Yeah lets hope, again i'm not 100% sure on the specifics of off-book ones. But as you said, its holding steady compared to some peers like boo and asos. 0.8% short interest, compared to 10.1% & 5.9% for Boohoo and asos respectively. Who knows what the market is trying to say or price in, however price action here has been steady even with the large increase in volume. | camo1997
29/9/2022 10:57 | Good point, the blocks going through over the last week or so are off-book hence the lack of a share price response. There is both a seller and a buyer so some party must still be offloading, it's just that the shares are not getting dumped onto the market. The good news is that there is a buyer - an RNS may be forthcoming at some point. Maybe some repositioning in advance of the interims next Thu - who knows. | no dice
29/9/2022 08:59 | no dice Alot of these large blocks have been off-book, in which only 1 party normally reports the trade to the exchange and i think not an obligation. Meaning 2 parties transact off the normal exchange, meaning it is not necessarily a large holder offloading, however a large buying in which the seller is the one reporting the trade thus showing as a sell. Please do correct me as i'm keen to know about these large blocks. However looking on the lse site, these show as off book. | camo1997
27/9/2022 18:34 | maybe top up at 15p | jackson83
21/9/2022 18:05 | Tuesday's price action was a damp squib in the end. But another 2x 1m blocks sold today, bringing the total of the 1m+ block sales over the last three trading days to 8.2m or just under 1.8% of the shares in issue. | no dice
18/9/2022 18:07 | Got to be an institution reducing. Impossible to know which one at this point but if EdenTree were to throw in the towel that would be 6.24m shares and, given current market sentiment, most likely simply in response to pressure from fund redemptions. Also, largest daily volume by far for the last 12 months and the share price closes pretty much flat on the day? Tuesday should be interesting. | no dice
16/9/2022 22:51 | You have inside knowledge obviously. | wrighna1
16/9/2022 17:35 | 6m shares sold at 22p something is going on but whatever it is the business is doing badly | southwinds
02/9/2022 10:44 | But if people have bought on credit then chickens may come home to roost once all this energy price nonsense starts to bite Dont get me wrong, I think current price will prove to be dirt cheap once the market turns - im just wary of any stock that involves consumer spending atm | nav_mike
02/9/2022 10:16 | That's when the market makes no sense because online retailers have lower overheads when it comes to rents / energy costs, they're cheaper than high street retail. Peeps still need to buy essentials like food and clothes, let's face facts clothes are made from such cheap materials nowadays you need to keep buying them. If you look at N Brown they're the budget end of market so if you're on tight budgets where do they go? Only stating the obvious | creditcrunchies
01/9/2022 12:02 | Cant help thinking the customer loan book will come under fire as the economic crisis bites. Peoples ability to pay non-essential debts may really worsen | nav_mike
01/9/2022 11:30 | Online retailers hitting new lows !! | s34icknote
10/8/2022 11:00 | I'm slightly bigger than. I should be and that can be difficult when buying clothes. I bought two velvet jackets from Jacamo and the quality was excellent as were the payment systems and delivery. There is clearly a niche to be filled here. What sort of job did you have ? | c2b
13/7/2022 17:30 | Tightest spread we've seen !!!! | s34icknote
11/7/2022 09:05 | Spread has closed to a penny | s34icknote |
