01/3/2017 13:00 | QS99 - Anything that is not in an RNS is not to be believed and trusted, especially with the current BoD. They did however admit in an RNS that money spent on Bomono till date is unlikely to be recovered. That's good enough information for me. Anyone else stating otherwise including Simon is not worthy of any trust. | durby
01/3/2017 11:25 | Simon T in the IC believes from write up I have seen that a sensible offer rather than the sneaky way in, would probably win the day, DYOR but he has proved a good tipster IMO and I have tucked a few away just in case the sensible thing happens! Let's see... | qs99
01/3/2017 11:11 | belo.. I like the sound of the remuneration package you were under, certainly a type of package I would like any CEO be under if KH is replaced. However the BOD remuneration is a sideshow to the issue of whether COC are more trust worthy than the current BOD. | benjimun
01/3/2017 11:11 | belo - well said! | targatarga
01/3/2017 11:07 | COC's Bowleven website - hxxp://www.bowleven- | durby
01/3/2017 11:02 | The Bomono expenditure along with the size of the court kept at Edinburgh and the levels of director remuneration are not matters that can be decided upon by Hart alone, they are the corporate decisions of the board of directors, with the NEDs, who are there to exercise stewardship on behalf of shareholders, equally culpable. Therefore, to pick and choose which of the present bunch should be voted for and against is a cop out. Vote for all or none of them, it is invidious to blame Hart alone. | warbaby43
01/3/2017 10:08 | Truth is that they bury bad news until forced to disclose. Hart should have been fired more than a year ago. Ranieri was sent packing for less. The Chairman's last throw of the dice should be to fire Hart, agree to at least 1 board member from COC and run the company himself until a successor is found. | belo horizonte
01/3/2017 09:37 | Never mind dear shareholder if you get screwed: we do it in full accordance with corporate governance guidelines and our remuneration policy will never be swayed by evil considerations such as the share price. We are above all that. | belo horizonte
01/3/2017 09:33 | winnet have a look at the last vote. That was a warning short from the IIs. I suspect they'll be much more proactive this time around. | loglorry1
01/3/2017 09:16 | I disagree Log. We saw lots of noisy PIs before the AGM moaning. BLVN had the support of the IIs to carry their resolutions. I suspect, although it could be close, that they will carry it again. Simply based on the incoherence of COCs proposals and as this mornings RNS pointed out, the failure to adhere to reasonable standards of corporate governance. | winnet
01/3/2017 08:57 | I think that PIRC also comment on excessive director remuneration...I wonder if COC or some the HNW investors might like to get their views on the Board gravy train and put that up as well.... | hernando2
01/3/2017 08:42 | D1NGA 1 Mar '17 - 07:53 - 14882 of 14890 5 0 Why not ? Must you be a holder to have an opinion? ================= Not sure where this idea comes from where you HAVE to own shares in a company to be able to pass comment ... absolute rubbish. Most of the 'experts' who publish reports on companies state they don't hold shares in the company they are reporting on so not sure how commenting on a BB is more regulated ? D1NGA ... feel free to make any comment you want ;) | ihavenoclue
01/3/2017 08:39 | tli8jag- they would without doubt get these reports each and every year | joe say
01/3/2017 08:29 | Joe Say, maybe it has something to do with Bowleven this time? | tli8jaguar
01/3/2017 08:24 | Jag COC most likely picked up my shares so they will still be for all the proposals ;-) | d1nga
01/3/2017 08:18 | Debatable if this is even ethical - For example have they RNS'd the usual annual ISS and PIRC reports previously Answer - Almost certainly No So why this time? | joe say
01/3/2017 08:17 | Dinga, if you sold which means your votes won't count. | tli8jaguar
01/3/2017 08:11 | What a waste of time RNS. | billytkid2
01/3/2017 08:05 | Today's RNS is reminiscent of the scare tactics of the government before the Brexit vote. Doesn't wash. How about something positive for a change? This company has been a wealth destroyer for shareholders and a gravy train for the executives. Far worse than that lot in Brussels. Some people seem to be suffering from Stockholm syndrome. "I have lost half or more of my investment but I don't trust these new guys" Do you really trust the old lot? You don't have to vote off the whole board. Just those that you know have let you down. | belo horizonte
01/3/2017 07:49 | If you have sold, why post here? | leedskier
01/3/2017 07:45 | That 'news' just smacks of desperation , and just flags to me that the current board still just don't get it. I sold my lot yesterday fearful of blvn keeping the co. Under the current BOD control with no real change to the situation IE no news bomono o further advancement with Etinde and a the risk of buying into a POS in the near future | d1nga |
