As I was writing this post a trade of 461k @ 5.20p has gone through.

When Spreadex notified it no longer held a notifiable interest in BRES, it was on behalf of a single punter who owned approx 6.4 million shares. After the notification the punter still had 3 million shares to dispose of. It is highly possible Spreadex are now at the rump of the remaining 3 million shares. This will go on for a few more days. One has to remember if there is a seller the MM's buy the stock. Why would they do that in such large amounts. Its because they have done basic research themselves. They currently are willing to buy the 250k plus transactions in BRES shares and will profit handsomely when the price rises. The guys who constantly criticise BRES on here are typical of city slickers who probably work for one of the CFD spread betting outfits that constantly advertise with the caveat 71%, 75%, 80% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFD's and spread-betting. The big seller of BRES is probably leveraged too much and needs the "bangers & mash" to settle their account or does not have the patience. Research shows Graphite is needed at every level of battery storage whether it be triple A batteries or EV cars. Bres is a small company with a large money rich asset. I have a large investment and I take a 18-24 month view before BRES will come to full fruition. Do not panic, it will come good.

Great Test results and basically confirm what we already knew about the quality of graphite from Oram-Cross, it really does look like the project will produce extremely low cost quality graphite.

Disappointed but not surprised by the market reaction today. The results were 'as good as' reported a few weeks ago and the graphite price has slipped a lot recently.

Part DFS funding by DFC and offtake agreements seem to be what is needed to make the market take notice. That or a project funding partner or take over.

Hopefully now the large scale bulk sample has proven the graphite quality we may hear something from the DFC regarding funding, either they commit soon or it looks like the project will end up with China.

If they ever do a proper full feasibility and got a decent engineering firm to do it, all of the met work would be looked into and signed off by a QP......Imho ! DYOR!

A bit like #prem and #kod when their market cap was 10 million nobody was interested. When their share price then multi multi bagged everyone and his dog wanted in. The same will happen to #bres

I just read the Fastmarket report and the natural graphite market outlook is favourable alongside synthetic projections. Possibly less than today in percentage figures, but the share will be much bigger in total tonnage terms. One always has to be cautious with any investment, but percentage figures are completely different to total numbers in a growing equation. One has to interpret the logical consequences of basic math principles. Eg 10% of 100 =10, yet 10% of 1,000 =100 The EV market is growing at such a fast rate, pure numbers must be analysed alongside percentage numbers to come to a logical conclusion. Synthetic graphite comes with its own issues. I have read various reports over the past 6 months that I do not completely understand, but the message is clear, synthetic graphite will not make natural graphite redundant it will run alongside it.
The past 30 years has shown Liquid petroleum gas (LPG) can power a combustion vehicle and ticks all the boxes as an alternative fuel, yet its draw back is, it runs very hot and overheats engines to an extent car manufacturers has not pursued this method of energy. I converted 3 vehicles in a fleet for my business and they were more expensive to run and maintain year on year. BP are investing $millions in researching Hydrogen cells in cars. Who’s to say Hydrogen cannot be rolled out cheaper and more effectively for power storage than Graphite/Lithium. With all investments I welcome others highlighting research but my own interpretation is the final arbiter in any decision making. Be lucky. J@goodbuyexsell

Goforgold,First, go back and read the company RNSs, if you can read. There is a world of difference between your imaginary world and the reality of Orom Cross.Second, learn how to spell. That's if you can spot your mistakes.

The benchmark minerals report is very compelling. Even if graphite prices were low, the BRES PFS uses $499/t operating cost which means OC is one of the worlds lowest cost mines and ensures substantial margins. PFS uses extremely cautious metrics ($1307/t weighted average sales price) which is considered to be very low. So even at the lowest possible suggested selling price, which it will not be (see benchmark minerals report) OC will be extremely high margin and profitable.Only a matter of time, and that is why we have multiple funding options. Wouldn't be surprised if we are acquired very soon

This world is running out of time. So the price of graphite can only go one way. And it’s needed badly. They worry about batteries catching fire when they should be worrying about the world catching fire.

Benchmark Mineral Intelligence estimates that the major auto makers have committed over US$300 billion to developing EVs and that there are over 200 LiB mega-factories in the pipeline. These factories represent over 3,000 gWh of LiB production capacity which in turn equates to over 1,000,000 tonnes of new annual graphite demand by 2025. In short, graphite production has to more than double quickly to meet this demand. As a result, the outlook for graphite prices is very bright and the need for secure western sources of supply is critical.

From Twitter today.
Our friends at Jilin have been doing an excellent job with the 100 tonne bulk sampling, picture below of final batch of TGC concentrates ready for drying & screening into separate mesh sizings. Positive feedback from potential offtakers on quality of concentrate samples.
This work is critical to understanding the commercial scale process plant components & quality of end-product that Orom-Cross can deliver as a high-grade graphite concentrate. It has also allowed conversations to be advanced with offtakers at an early stage.

For those interested, the worldwide graphite shortage is due to start towards the end of 2024 with a large decline year on year happening from 2025. This will have a significant impact on graphite prices. Wouldnt surprise me if we have significantly higher graphite prices this time next year / at the point that BRES are able to commercially sell their graphite from OC. These prices will continue to increase based on ongoing structural shortages within the graphite market.

The current 14 year mine life is based on just 2% exploration of OC, and this is likely to increase substantially as exploration increases. We could be sitting on the biggest graphite deposit in the world.
