Brilliant news today and another small top-up for me too.

Overall I have to say I've been very impressed with the performance of Mike Ralston so far. Apart from a bit of slippage on timelines which always happens in mining, he seems a no frills kind of guy who knows what he's doing and works hard. Bypassing the pilot plant and getting the Graphite processed in China was a masterstroke and the board have managed to get us this far with very few shares in issue and with what looks like major interested parties willing to fund development in the future.

Blencowe Resources (BRES) provided an update on the 100 tonne bulk sample processing program currently underway. The work is being completed by a leading graphite technical specialist firm, Jilin New Technology, based in Yanji Province in northern China. This experienced graphite facility has been conducting similar test work on several other leading East African graphite projects over the past few years. The company is expecting the bulk sample test program to be completed by the end of August.

Comment: Shares of BRES have already been in recovery mode of late, and the run up to the completion of the bulk sample test program at the end of this month may speed this process along.

This is a pattern. Good News = initial buys, then worrying sales. On the info this morning buys should one would expect to be in the millions. Let’s look forward to then end of Aug. One would also expect the Us deal to be put to bed.

Agree. All positive, DFS towards the end of completion, on the verge of funding, hugely undervalued and now a statement saying we have interest from a number of off take partners wanting large quantities of different flake sizes. Can only assume that people haven't yet seen the RNS

Surprised we have not done more on that news.

Fantastic RNS. Follow the facts, not the conjecture. The following says it all:

"Following the distribution of concentrate samples to potential end users from the IMO test work and Wuhan University 150kg test work, several large downstream offtake processors requested meetings to discuss timing and availability of the high-grade, low impurity concentrates from the Orom-Cross project. The offtake meetings involved firms seeking substantial quantities of both larger flake concentrates and fines feedstock for the SPG processors. Several downstream processing firms have expressed interest in opportunities to explore in-country downstream processing of the Orom-Cross concentrates and Blencowe will consider this within the DFS that is underway."

This is where additional funding (if needed) can come from through forward selling off-take. Excellent RNS. Great job BRES.

Haha. You should sell up immediately. Do your own research. Successful investors make investment decisions based on facts and their own research, not the scaremongering of posters on a BB. Good luck with your investment decisions, sounds like you should stick to FTSE 100 companies

That is not my intention. Personally I'm waiting to read the definitive feasibility study...plus would like to know if any further environmental impact assessments are needed, along with potential further permitting milestones, plus if the community is totally on board. Then there is the technical and processing risk etc, and indeed offtake. Hopefully everything is good. I'm a big advocate of mining and what it can bring to an area in terms of well paying jobs and skills, so good luck all holders !!All imho DYOR!

If the value here runs into £billions why did Rio Tinto give it up just when EV started taking off in a big way.

All I want is to read a single technical report on the project, and I've asked this board in good faith to point me in the direction ! Why ? Because I notice their corporate presentation highlights an extremely healthy $482 million NPV and 49% IRR with a tiny $62 million Capex and all I want to do is sit down with a cup of tea and a biscuit and read this pre feasibility study, that shows, and I quote, a "robust, long life, high margin project ".....so again I ask where can I read the study? It sounds like the economics are 'robust' (favourite word within the industry along with 'dynamic' lol )
