Seems graphite from non-China sources will be well in demand given how much of a problem it is to move away from Chinese supply:https://www.kedglobal.com/business_politics/newsView/ked202405050001The IRA grants qualifying EV buyers up to $7,500 per vehicle if the clean car is assembled in the US and the battery's minerals are mined or processed in the US or countries with free trade agreements with Washington. The IRA rules are designed to wean the US EV battery chain away from China. However, automakers and battery makers have struggled to meet strict sourcing requirements.China currently accounts for 70% of the global output of graphite, used to make electric battery anodes, the negatively charged portion of the battery. To be eligible for US tax benefits, Korea's top automaker Hyundai Motor Co. and battery maker LG Energy Solution have promised heavy investments to build their plants in the US.

ncp3, if you read my post carefully, I did say, "or" listed company. Applies to both types of public cos. But the substance of your argument is well said.

This morning 30k buys shares up 2% 350k buys shares down 4% then the big sell appears. There is a strong suspicion BRES stock is being manipulating.
MM’s work on a daily spread of 10%.
We all have to wait until a deal s done. That will be the only time any of us will get paid. MM’s rule. The FCA should look at the conduct of the Mm’s because manipulation appears to be going on in this regard.
I am not making the accusation, just posing the question.

FFS. share price rinse and repeat! The eventual publication (this year?) of the long-overdue Prospectus and final unveiling of the mysterious new Strategic Investor would probably help stabilize the current share price support level and thereby hopefully enable us to stay ABOVE 5 pence. Just sayin’. Laters fellow shareholders.

It's often companies who have taken part in placings, provided capital, who are able to manipulate and also do it as part of a bigger game to gain a large stake or even total control of the asset.Such a valuable asset, it is worth their fight and games.Want to keep the asset on the London market and not controlled in China after a cheap takeover...then the answer is for everyone to buy the shares...same with all london junior miners.

I actually don’t think they are succeeding. I also think they’ll give up once they realize they can’t push the share price down.

And they are succeeding as usual 1acert. The question is who is constantly keeping a lid on it.

As I write, BRES management are currently in South Korea and in talks with POSCO (market cap about £20bn). We knew it was a strong possibility! Keep the faith & GLA. RB.
