Read the April rns re strategic funding which makes it clear the dfc funding is for 50%.As I said they may dilute but may not.Offtake agreements as Sashi said recently while they may sign MOUs binding agreements will probably be post dfs.

Will have to allow the trading range to change now. Funding means that we have fundamentally de risked the project and that was the major blocker to a much higher sp

Not pretending anything...Suggest that you reread the RNS, consider the updated presentation which provides further info and then watch the Proactive interview which states they will immediately apply for $1m and then very shortly another $1m with all $5m over the next 6-9 months. You also forget that BRES have already committed some funds to the DFS.

As I said yes it is good news and reduces risk but you can't pretend the project is now fully funded and completely deriskedYou also seem to forget that Bres will need to find 5m to match the DFC grant to complete the dfs. Yes they may raise this without diluting shareholders but they may not...

Its a huge milestone that underpins the VALUE of the project and makes a mockery of this share price level. Noice

What an amazing announcement that fundamentally de risks the project. The world is short of graphite and OC is part of the answer. There are aligned objectives here. The DFC also likely have far more detailed info on OC than we do, so they will be well informed. The initial £1m payment (around 20 percent of current market cap) alone allows BRES to continue with the project without dilution, so cant see a downside at all.

As Orom-Cross contains an estimated 2-3 billion tonnes of graphite and is one of the largest, high quality deposits worldwide it has considerable long term appeal to the DFC!!

Good news yes but only an option to fund the project not a commitment to do so

"With the support of the DFC we can address one of the major challenges and risks to any mining operation, being the clear pathway to fund the project into production. We now have the opportunity to build Orom-Cross with the comfort of having a partner with the means to deliver this."

Cameron Pearce, Executive Chairman commented;"This funding relationship with the DFC is a unique and game-changing event for Blencowe. To the best of our knowledge there has been no other graphite project worldwide that has received a similar type grant to date from the DFC. We appreciate and we value this support and we will do everything we can to build their trust within this relationship, to ensure we deliver a high quality project together.
