I’m sitting on the beach here in Antigua and think I’ve worked out my last question. But I could be wrong.

This maybe another stupid question to all you experts. I’ve heard of shorting which no one seems to like. I’m studying the buys and selling and I do find it interesting.so after a while you can predict when the sells appear appear. But how do they make their profits on such a small change in price

Treading water share price wise is the new multi-bag in this small cap market.

Just need to ride it out as I think when things turn it will be stocks like this that will be the first to make significant moves.

All the indications are saying this share should be on the rise. The ceo is good and the company is good and all the news is good.I’ve no worries with its success so why is the share price deliberately being held down. However I’m no expert in how these mms think or why.

None of the major shareholders are selling. We know the Co has a valuable asset and the US on board is a major plus. Maybe TESLA will invest.
However, I still believe the MM's hold the trump card in the short term with its wide margin.

I wrote the post on 27/9/23 , My view has not changed.
I have come to the conclusion that the MM's hold the trump card with Blencowe stock. No amount of good news will see a stable rise in the shares.
CFD and spread betting traders will not make money with Bres shares unless they are fortunate to take a position in the run up to the deal we know is coming.

Last week MM's sold 10 million shares they did not own. It is they who are manipulating the stock price.

Typical market reaction. If BRES were to get a 100p per share cash offer by Tesla we would only increase a couple of percent

The same was true with Avct, another large position of mine, in the cancer therapeutics sector, until the last week. It's all about reaching the pinch point when fresh large buyers come in to invest and take over from the PI trading fraternity. Our time will come.

Can now buy at less than pre news. Madness. Valuations are nothing to do with fundamentals anymore and it's all about jumping on momentum. It's just a fancier online casino. If the mm's are short they'll do their bit too so the house never loses, by stopping the momentum, rather than increasing the bid (as was tradition) which would make their naked short losses even worse.

Derisked with tier 1 funding (and all the positive implications) has added a grand total of 11.76% to what was an oversold shareprice. Go figure.

Funny how the mm's switched off buying at 5.2p offer when momentum was building, then dropped it all the way back down as sells amounted to only a third of the buy volume.

Not rigged at all.

The new info in today's RNS is the mention of the SPG grade bring tested in the USA, rather than in China, where I had assumed it was being tested. This is important, as it may mean that a downstream SPG grade processing plant in Uganda on site may be done with US funding and a US industry partner. And with double the annual production of the initial PFS amount planned.Getting confirmed SPG grade material is the next key deliverable to unlock the next $1mn grant money, imho. That event will have major implications for the value of the whole project and share price

I agree but I think that's the nature of resource companies, I like Mike Ralston, he isn't over confident, he's very measured and while small delays have happened he's got us to this point without a massive share issue or giving most of the company/resource away.

He's much better than the CEO's of some other companies I've had the misfortune to invest in recently and has so far delivered. The frustration is the market is slow to catch up.

I like mr as a ceo but he does have a habit of giving a prediction and you can bet it’s at least 4to 6 months beyond that time. However as far as this company is concerned it’s just the waiting for the right news to lift it off the launch pad.

All smallcaps have been trashed over the last few weeks/months regardless of fundamentals. At some point soon, the ones that are actually promising will be bought back up from bargain bucket levels and there's no doubt that BRES will be one of the best. Massive opportunity for anyone looking to invest in an opportunity that's as safe as you're going to get in this nervous market. Aimho, dyor, etc.

Tremendous upside optionality here, especially with downstream local processing to SPG grade, should that be verified shortly.

Opinion & Recommendation - The securing of a $5m grant from the DFC is a
commendable achievement for Blencowe and significantly reduces financing risks at OromCross. We have re-calibrated the PFS published last year from a NPV8 to NPV10 to reflect a
higher cost of borrowing world (from $482m to $402m) and applied certain
development/resource (30%), finance (12%) and country (25%) risk factors. The impact of
the DFC grant and potential for it to lead to securing project construction funds has resulted
in our finance risk being slashed from 40% to 12%. By applying all these risk factors to
our NPV10, we calculate a valuation of $185.7m, an increase of 46% on our previous
$126.5m estimate.
Using the current no of shares in issue and 100% project interest this would imply a price
per share of 73p (prev. 59p). If we factor in the impact of possible share dilution over the
next 24-months, we arrive at a 46p valuation. Taking an even more prudent approach and
assuming Blencowe ends up with a 51% project interest if a JV partner was bought in, then
a 23p value is calculated. Although if the DFC provides significant debt funding to construct
a mine, such a severe project dilution may not be needed, instead a smaller valuation
adjustment would be made according to the impact on future cash flows from whatever
potential funding solution is provided.
Further upside, which is not factored into our estimates could come from an improvement
in the resource size to increase mine life, higher p.a. production volumes and building of a
downstream processing facility. The latter of these enhancements is the most exciting and
possible now with the financial muscle of the DFC, whose involvement now has potential to
elevate the project nearer a telephone number style valuation. With all the above thoughts
in mind, we recommend the shares as a ‘Buy’, with a price target range of 23p to 46p per
share, both of which are much higher than the current share price of around 5p.
